I received an email from Google Search Console Team saying that my site was invalid for search results due to this error: Missing field "item" (in "itemListElement")
I have

This error message is related to the Structured Data markup on your website, specifically in relation to the "itemListElement" property. This property is commonly used to indicate a list of items, such as a list of blog posts or products on an e-commerce website.

The "itemListElement" property requires the "item" field to be present, which should contain the URL or identifier of the item being listed. If this field is missing or incorrectly formatted, it can result in the error you received from Google Search Console.

To fix this error, you should review the Structured Data markup on your website and ensure that the "itemListElement" property is correctly formatted and contains the required "item" field for each item in the list. You can use Google's Structured Data Testing Tool to check your markup and identify any errors.

Once you have fixed the error, you can use the Validate Fix feature in Google Search Console to notify Google that you have resolved the issue and request a re-crawl of your website to update the search results.

Thank you. I will see if I can figure out where this is, then.

Thank you. That was extremely helpful.
