Sounds like a good opportunity to me. I can see the product going hand in hand with your B&B business actually, especially since you use the product.
Someone said something about the company selling to you at "retail" ...I dont' think that sounds right ...If they want you to be a dealer I would assume you would get the product wholesale and sell it for retail. If you can sell the product just by promoting it that would be ideal and not have to purchase the product and hold it in inventroy.
Either way, I can see it very doable selling online or whatever....let the company handle the details of shipping, etc.. just like they do on amazon...except the orders come from you!
Thanks Cindy. It’s a matter of getting the online stuff set up. Just have to figure that out and see what they would be agreeable to. Oh yeah and traffic to my site :)
Sure they have their own interests at heart Michelle like any business. Having said that I would look at it as an opportunity to parlay your expertise gained here at Wealthy Affiliate into a position like in regular employment and thrive from the experience gained. I'm with you on this whatever you decide!
Thanks Mike, yes it’s working out the details and finding out what they have in mind. I was actually considering ordering this product for our biz. We have 5 double tubs at our new place. We should be there and running by Feb 1
sounds almost like a drop shipping deal, the only problem would be selling them within the country or locale
Might be worth looking into for the delivery costs, and good marketing experience - you lose nothing but time - if you learn then it benefits both sides.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Many years ago I was a representative for a number of air and water filtration companies. I was considered a "dealer" in that I received wholesale (not retail) pricing on their products. My marketing practices had to be in line with theirs and I was able to mark up my "wholesale purchased" products to "retail sales" level to generate income. It is fairly standard, also considered being a manufacturer's rep, albeit not in line with affiliate marketing. Hope that make sense. :-)
It seems to me that they did not understand what affiliate marketing is. I think that, unless you want to open a brick and mortar store for them, you need to tell them that you don't believe they understood what you were asking of them and then explain to them what affiliate marketing is and what you could do for them as an affiliate.
Best Wishes,
Anita
They may choose not to understand Affiliate Marketing but I may have to mold something that works for them - if I can - out of the box solution.
Hi Michelle,
Yes my Friend you can absolutely become a dealer with them or anyone else.
Find out the details as they will differ with each company.
You would be able to build a website and share it along with pricing, make sure that you have a way to track sales and not mention the name of the company unless they provide you with tracking links/codes.
Let us all know how it goes for you Michelle, exciting times in 2018 my Friend.
Tony
Yes Tony, agree. I trying to think out of the box, just not sure I have the technical know-how to set up something like this. I was thinking of linking it to my existing Modernbnb.com website and set up a checkout feature that would just link them to order/drop ship directly from the company.
Awesome Michelle & when they pay you, you can then purchase from the company and then they can set up delivery etc....
Make sure to get all of the details in writing with both the Company and also with the buyers.
Thinking outside of the box is Amazing!
Tony
What they want you to do is to buy the product from them at retail price and sell yourself on your website, I think that's what that is.
Yeah I agree with you, but I'm trying to see if anyone has experience with turning these around into a Pay per Sale using their Affiliate Marketing website. Thinking out of the box.... I just don't have the coding experience with Divi and WordPress to set it up. Thanks for responding :)

That could easily be taking on a whole new area that takes your focus off your site. Doesn't anyone else have a similar product AND be available via an affiliate program?

Hmm I can try fetch.... yes the two links are different the first one is the /tag/ and when you click on it it brings up "only" the snippet. I guess my question is why is this ranking or is that normal.... Did I set something in my build I should not have because it just seems weird to me. I have not seen this happen before.
I noticed that the two links are different. Have you tried using Fetch as Google to check out the first link? It should be able to tell you if there is something wrong with the link. Once you do that, you should be able to fix whatever the issue is.
Ideas why I see this search result in google?

I moved my site modernbnb.com back to WA hosting because I really would like the free hosting right now. It has not been a friendly move, perhaps my site is too big??? It has b
The Divi logo can easily be changed in the theme settings. Sometimes when moving Divi sites the logo does not follow.
How did you do the move?
If the original site was exported correctly as a complete json file, import should work fine after installation of Divi and necessary plugins. I have done this on Site Rubix servers without problems.
You should be able to set up your site correctly again by adjusting the various Divi elements that are displaying wrong.
Thank you for the information. I actually had support move the site for me and I’m still trying to figure out what they did but they haven’t been able to give me anymore info other than contact the theme.
Most likely they moved in a way that works for most sites, but that causes small hickups for themes like Divi
I did have my own logo. Somehow when I moved my site I lost it and the Divi symbol appear. I am really really not happy with how my site was hosed over in this move. No excuse. I am shocked that that it didn’t go better than this!!!!!!!!!!!!
No the homepage is still broke. This is not a theme problem. I also have videos embedded in my site that got hosed. WA does not seem to have the capacity to support my site. Everything is either broke or displaying incorrectly. It worked beautifully when I hosted at WPX. I will have to move to another hosting. Just not supported here. Sucks cause I really wanted my site here but it’s bigger than WA can support.
Thanks but have you looked at my website site. It's massive. Changing themes is not done lightly, I also have a pretty heavy investment in this site. This just happened two days ago when I moved to WA.

If it's Kyle or Carson you sent a PM to, you have to wait at least between 24-48hours before you receive a reply.
If you want to get their attention quicker, the best is to write a lengthy blog on the whole story and a very eye-catching heading - this normally gets the WA Community involved and if enough people chime in, Kyle or Carson end up reading the blog and they attend to the problem.
Let me know if you need any further help.

Wow, that’s a long way around submitting a help ticket. I’ve only spent all day on this. At this point I think I’ll pick up the fight on Monday. Thank you very much!
Do you know you can’t technically submit a support tix for a technical issue related the WA site itself :(
Unless I’m missing something!
That's why I suggested to write an outstanding blog heading that will get their attention.
Sometimes Kyle is on the Live Chat on a Friday...
Perhaps write the heading as follows:
URGENT! Need Help NOW! Am Locked Out Of My Account!
Anything is worth a try... if you don't succeed... send me a PM with your email so I can assist if you get locked out totally.
Regards
Edu
Send Kyle a PM and he will respond when he is able.
Alternatively, send a Support Ticket under SiteSupport found under the heading SiteRubix top left of this page.

I recently received an affiliate banner from a travel site. Now that we are ready to add it to the page that is relevant to their business, I find that the banner code is not a
I would contact them and ask some questions, especially about how to keep track of clicks, sales and commission. Sounds like they are using you as a referral system without the tracking mechanism needed for your commission. Also what percentage of the sale do you get.
Thanks for responding.. I think I have it worked out. One problem is that their banner is broken... Great :(
It sounds like it might be a widget that the user can interact with. Like the the Jaaxy or Site Rubix widgets.
Why not make a screen shot of the banner, add it to your post and add your own link to wherever you want it to go :)
Thanks appreciate your response, but they sent me code to the entire website. I can get an image but I need the tracking code going to their website so I get credit for the referral and they did not give me a URL, I got an anchor ref instead.
I think you should ask them for an Affiliate link. If they won't give you one, then maybe try using another company.
Thanks, Teddy Bear actually was able to help me. Their banner is broken but the link works. What I was missing was getting my affiliate link added to it. Yay! Thanks so much for responding. It was apparently a little more complicated...
I would just find an actual banner that is not link to the web site! I do not know much about this type of thing yet! Hope you get answers!
Best wishes
Barbara
