Why does my site identity look correct (font, logo, typograpy) when I am editing, but when viewing the updated post, it has the wrong font and typography? I use Hello Elementor
I check my options in appearance > customize and that's your theme limitations.
You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try URL in a different browser or mobile device.
You can also empty servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache
I am afraid to change the theme as I use hello elementor. Won't I lose all my elementor edits? I am not sure I totally understand what changing my theme will do.
Thanks,
Erlene

Thank you for your time.
Thanks Bridges! How is the weather in your part of AZ? We have 70 degrees and sunny today.
Take care,
Erlene
A little cooler today up here. Thermometer hit 66, but wind chill knocked it down a few degrees.
Sun did shine all day though.

That is great. Today was a little cloudy and cool. Not bad though. It's not 5 feet of snow and below zero wind chills like I have been used to in the past!!
Stay Well,

How scores are color-coded #
The metrics scores and the perf score are colored according to these ranges:
0 to 49 (red): Poor
50 to 89 (orange): Needs Improvement
90 to 100 (green): Good
To provide a good user experience, sites should strive to have a good score (90-100). A "perfect" score of 100 is extremely challenging to achieve and not expected. For example, taking a score from 99 to 100 needs about the same amount of metric improvement that would take a 90 to 94.

Thanks Pam. I just didn't know if I should concern myself with the 85 and 88 scores. I am going to leave them for now.
Thanks for stopping by,

Hey Erlene,
Here you go, I started responding to your question and then turned into a blog post just for you :) NoFollow DoFollow Links Arghhh! (In Response to Erlene) Partha
Hey Partha,
I am not adding "no follow" to any of my links. Semrush states I have 34 "no follows." I can not see them when I go back and check what box I checked when making links. So, where are they?
And again, how do I fix them. I understand when and when not to use "no follow". Thanks!
Erlene
Why are you putting no follow to links back to you website. From what I understand, and god knows there are many smarter than me, a no follow means to Google it is an untrustworthy page or post.
When you add your link, whether in block editor or site content you click on the drop down bar and select whatever you want.
If all else fails, site support.lol.
Stephen
P.S. I got rid of semrush.
Hey Zoopie,
I am pretty clear when to use no follow and do follow, but what I am not clear about is that I didn't add no follow to any links, but semrush is saying there are now 37 instances. I don't know how to remove the no follow. Any ideas?
Erlene
I would need to see and have access to your site. Lol. Which is not kool. Probably ask site support.
Also I think the purple prince Partha may already have answered your question.
Happy new year.
Stephen
Hello Erlene.
I asked the same question. They could be affiliate links or comments. Blocked from search engines, what does it mean? Nat

I have some crawl errors showing up on my Bing Webmaster Tools. What are they, do I need to worry about them, and how do I fix them?
I would appreciate any help you can
Hello Emarla,
I'm actually having 125 crawl errors. But I have never looked into it. Bing is very strange and not transparent. It doesn't provide details like GSC.
One strange thing that is happening to me on Bing is, that number if clicks are decreasing. I had 6 clicks for long time. Then suddenly 5, that stayed for some time and now I have 4. So weird.
Maybe people just dont noticed it. I would be interested to see if someone else is having these errors.
Thank you for coming up with this.
Nat
Hey Erlene,
Whenever I receive any kind of prompt, be it from software, Google Analytics, Bing, etc., I Google search the prompt and most times (so far, every time!) I've been fortunate enough to find helpful posts in addressing those prompts.
Had you provided at least one of those prompts here, I would have shown you a Google search results in a screen print for you to see.
You need never be afraid to search for explanations and solutions in resolving prompts.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thank you! I did do some research on what causes crawl errors and the fix was over my head, but yes, I do research things and a majority of the time, it has been helpful. I needed to understand this issue in layman's terms. 🤗
Erlene
Sorry to learn that not one article used layman's terms.
So far, I've not run into that issue myself, as I've been fortunate enough to find several easy to understand, helpful articles when I run a search on any prompt that confuses me.
I suggest you don't border since you checked in the Google search console and everything is fine.
Crawl errors are website errors that prevent Google bots from loading your website. It could be anything from a faulty WordPress theme & Plugin. The detailed report should tell you what the issue is.
I looked at google search console and it says I have no crawl errors. WTH?
How can Google and Bing webmaster tools be so different and what could that mean?
Erlene
Hi Emarla
This screenshot it only showing a timeline of when the crawl errors occured, starting with 15 around Nov 30th, followed by 3 errors a day later on the next crawl, and so on.
With each crawl from the search engine, it accumulated 70 crawl errors since the end of November.
