Does anyone use the app called SEO Check? I have run scans with it on my websites and I like it but I don't know how to fix some of the issues that it finds. One of the results
Sometimes, we add something to the header via code that could interfere.A header plugin will make it easier to add a new code to the header. but I am not sure if it will find the code that is errored. I would try the plug-in because if it does find errored code, it will be in red. Delete that, and your header will be back to normal
Have you tried to reach out to support?

I just wanted to ask here before bothering support. I haven't had to contact them in awhile though, so I guess I was due for a message! lol :)
Site support said it was a warning and I don't have to do anything. I'm wondering why you do nothing about warnings?
From what I just read it puts servers at risk of attacks from hackers. So I would think it should be taken care of.

Some of these online SEO checker sites can be focusing on something that is not so much Wordpress oriented.
Have you tried http://seoptimer.com.

I made a logo in canva, when I try to add the logo to my website it stretches the image across the top of the page which distorts the logo. Anyone know how to fix that?
You can change the size that you want it to appear in the "Customize" menu. That is with the GeneratePress theme...

I'm Curious what everyone uses for their website security? I recently added the defender plug in from wpmu dev. The following items came up in a scan. It's rather confusing kno
Hi - WA has a full security package including SSL, Botnet Protection, DDoS protection and daily Back-Up.
As far as I'm aware, WA hosting comes with hosting security, daily backup, and hacking prevention. For any further queries on this topic, I would contact SiteSupport.
I think its got to do with WPMUDEV structure. you can chk out here
https://wpmudev.com/forums/topic/defender-pro-defender-malware-scan-reports-legitimate-files-as-suspicious/
Those files and directories doesn’t belong to default WordPress core installation, even tho those are valid, Defender will show them. It will also show error_log files for example. It is going to point our every file and directory that doesn’t come with WordPress install. In those cases, it will be false positive.
Here is some security with WA servers and hosting for websites.

https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/hosting/
If you site is hosted here, there's no need however you may check out with site support

.well-known
This directory does not belong to WordPress core
This file also showed up. I added it to an ignore list, after deleting it last night, which was a mistake. One I don't really know what I am doing, and two it caused me to not be able to get into my back office. I am hosted here by the way. I am just curious what others use for site security. I have received emails from moz, and other seo monitoring places that I have bad back links etc on my site. So I decided to do a scan with a plug in to see what was up. No one really indicates what kind of security WA does with our websites.

If we move hosting to cloudflare or ezoic, can we still use site mail here for our websites? Not sure how this works?
I don't see how that will work, friend. Sites hosted here come with their own email inboxes.
So, if you are hosting at Cloudflare, then I would think that you'll be given an email inbox there with your website as well. All the best!
Following for answers. Good question, can you redirect your email. Can you set up the same address. I always thought your site email was linked to your website, so if you moved your website the rest would follow.
Great question, following with interest.
Stephen
As far as I'm aware, you can't use the SiteMail feature if you move your domain to another hosting.
Hi
Final destination hosting provider offers such packages. You need check your options before you make a move to avoid inconveniences.

Can someone do a tutorial for setting up multiple websites with analytics?
Well I just found a fantastic tutorial on YouTube! So I fixed some errors. However, I have one issue I can't quite figure out. I did not create a UA tag for one of my properties! So I still need to figure that out.
to do that you need ot create a new property with the advanced features set and dual analytics for that site...
and go through the loop of removing the old property tag and adding the new one...
this is not a necessity unless you have programs that require the older universal analytics...
phil
Hi
I just add more properties.
