Hello, I love animals; we have five dogs, three cats, and 30 birds mixed in the breed with peacocks, turkeys, chickens, roosters, etc. I also take care of wild animals as well. So, I'm glad to meet other dogs, cats, and bird lovers of this world, I'm just starting, and I would love to learn from your tips and secrets on being successful in WA.

Lots of money in the dog niche for sure! I am another old-timer and have been making money online shortly after the internet was born when the only people making money were with books or porn. We've come a long way in some ways, lol.

I am happy to help in any way I can.

Best to you on this very, very extraordinary journey.

Thanks Todd.

Yes the dog niche has been good to me so far... Just started in the MMO niche a few months back... This nut might take a little longer to crack lol...

For a couple of years, I invested in a Doggie Day Care. I had no intention of becoming active, but I was forced to get involved with operations while trying to save the business. I did close it after working 100+ hours a week for a year.

However, if dogs are your passion, and properly run, a doggie day care can be a real money maker. At the end, I was getting 75+ dogs a day.

Oh wow that is amazing and a lot of hours to be working. That is my end goal, to have a doggy daycare centre.

We can talk about what I learned, why I failed, etc. If you love dogs, it is a rewarding experience - not only profit-wise. Just don't be like me and trust in others' expertise. If you do not have the expertise, stay out of the business. Improperly setup, a doggie day care can be a huge money pit! At one point, I was losing more than 20K a month. I think the month I closed, I probably made about 8K. But, it was too little too late. I was tired.

Nice to meet you, Mark! You have led an eventful life it sounds like...You will have no probs getting this online stuff down.

There was a time a couple of decades ago when I thought a mouse was a mouse (as in running around 4 legs kinda mouse haha)...

The online body of knowledge is a lot easier to grasp than the engineer thing...

It is also less work than being in the military. I spent 25 years myself, out since 1998...

Haven't missed a step since (or a new brand of beer as I get a chance if we are lucky enough to travel like the old days)!

Cheers!

Great to meet a fellow Military man Dave!

The mouse story I can definitely relate to mate.

What corps did you serve in mate?

Cheers,

Mark

I was in the US Army...Retired as a Sergeant Major and stayed in Europe (Germany) and have been overseas most of my life since 17...Loved it all, but civilian life hasn't been too bad either!

I remember telling everyone about the email thing - how faxes were going the way of dinosaurs. Had some trouble convincing folks of that...

Now things have progressed so much and are continuing at an ever-faster pace it is as hard to keep up now as it was back then. I still like to dabble though so I guess I will (and you too) survive!

Cheers and have a safe and enjoyable New Year's Eve!
