Hey Darcy,
The world can see what you post on your Google+ account providing they know the URL.
Hope this helps you.
Yes, that I new. But does a link to your Google plus account appear anywhere in your email?
No, you must be seeing someone's signature.
Here's Google's instructions on adding one if you are interested:

Thank you for the link. I wasn't actually interested in adding it, but I just noticed that some of my contacts have a link to their Google plus account right at the very top of the email along with their email address, and I have had some people find my Google plus account through my email somehow although I do not see a link anywhere. Thanks for the info.

Hi Loes. Yes, I am approved. The problem is fixed now :) Not sure what happened, but everything is good to go it seems!
Hi Steven! It's wonderful to hear from you again. My ads started working after I stopped using a plugin. I just went to my side bar and pasted the code in the HTML widget. Sometimes it doesn't work that way either though... its finicky!!!
I'm sorry to hear your having difficulties, but at the same time it's nice to know I wasn't the only one!
From other experiences, I have discovered that it is really difficult to get ad sense to work with Premium themes that are responsive and have advanced features. My site isn't premium, but it is a little responsive, so maybe that contributed to it somewhat? Who knows!
I send positive vibes your way!
Sincerely yours,
Darcy
Thanks, Darcy
I lost my WA email yesterday and just got it back. Seems an email came thorough as "spam" which site support tells me shuts down email. But they fixed it for me about an hour ago.
Oh, wow. I'm so glad they got it fixed for you. I have not encountered any spam issues as of yet, but I have on other community websites and they are stressful!
Here is a post that I used and helped me out in a big way What happened to my google adsense ads? Hope that helps ;-)
Thanks so much for your reply. its working great now. Not sure what happened exactly, but I will bookmark your link just incase the problem happens again.
Sincerely yours,
Darcy
Well done Darcy.
I think @yclayton is the best at explaining this. It happened to her too. That's why I shared that link with you just incase it helps you
I am so happy you got it sorted
Debs ;-)
Thanks Debs! Its a very helpful link. I may have just been over complicating the whole thing... I do that to myself sometimes...
Hi Darcy,
Did you try to copy the html code to the <head> of your site's Dashboard?
If not here's how I did it:
1. Click on Appearance ---> Editor
2. You are now in Edit Themes page, but don't touch anything there other than what I am entering here.
3. On the right-hand side there is a list. Look for 'Theme Header'
(In your Theme it might be just 'Header').
4. Click on 'Theme Header' / 'Header'
5. On the left-hand side under Edit Themes - Theme Header - look for <head> and paste the Google Adsense html code immediately after <head>
6. Arrow down the page and click on 'Update File'.
You can expect your Google Adsense to function in a short while, or it may take a few hours.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me such a detailed reply. It started working a few minutes ago. Not sure what happened before, but it's all good now! I will keep this info you have provided incase I encounter the problem again!
Are you sure that you have been approved for Google AdSense?
When your site is approved, they will send a confirmation email. If they reject you, they will send another email with the reasons why they disapprove you.
Then, I do not know what is the problem. If you do not want to add the code manually, you can ask the support why it does not work.
Its working now...heehee! Not sure what was going on there, but it works now. Thanks for replying.
So check out what @yclaton says after she encountered the same problem ;-) I just sent you the link hope it helps ;-)

Can you make a screenshot so we can see what you're talking about? Code is often automatically deleted when you publish a question or blog here. Screenshots on the Fly And tell us how you added the code in case that's where the problem lies.
You may have chosen the more complicated way to achieve what you want. Enable Comments on Pages
Sadly I did not have any other option. I am very aware that comments can usually be enabled by selecting the various boxes in all the setting areas and such. But sometimes if a theme was not originally programmed for boxes to appear on pages then it won't no matter how many boxes you select. It happens a lot in Premium themes although the one I am using is not one of those...
Thanks for taking the time to reply. Hopefully I will find the answer.

Hey Darcy,
You got it solved. You have to know that someone in this wide community would have the solution.
Cheers,

Hi Darcy this link will help you :D Pages DO Have The Option For Comments If your theme is different then go to the pages area in WordPress and click 'edit' or 'quick edit' and check the box there.
It has to help there is no other way unless as I mentioned the theme has that area in WordPress under 'pages' and the edit part.
Good luck :)
I'm surprised you had to add a code!
I haven't heard of that before.
The link I left you has helped everyone else so far.
At least you solved it :D
there is a comment box on my about me page. (I went and checked.) Have you submitted a support ticket?
Yes. They said they don't deal with Theme issues and I should contact the theme creators, but there is no way of contacting them that I could find through the links they left.
I have had this problem many times before and I solved it by adding code to the html, but I cannot get it to work this time. I am currently looking into other theme options, but hope to fight the battle for answers for a little while longer before calling it quits i=on the one I have.
yes, I've hit that wall. no one owns the problem. it's one of the few downsides of WA and WordPress.
I checked and I have comment boxes on all my pages using the Hiero theme.
I'm glad you have all your comment boxes :) I have them for posts just not my pages. I know it isn't a must to have comment boxes on pages, but I would really like one for my about me page.
I understand. there has to be a way. Maybe post the question in the SWAG or GoGetters chat areas?
Not a bad idea. I did manage to find a help form for the theme I am using. (Finally!) I have my fingers crossed that someone will reply with a helpful suggestion. In the meantime I am just going to create my about me page without a comment box and focus on my posts since those all have comment boxes! (lol) I will continue to research the problem in the meantime and if push comes to shove I will change the theme if it really becomes a problem.
Thanks for replying! I really appreciate it. I hope everything is going well with your own website. :D
Hi Steve just so you know they do have comments and I left Darcy this link. I'll leave it with you as well in case someone else needs to know :) Pages DO Have The Option For Comments
Hi I saw that which is great but just in case other members ask you will know to say yes pages do have comments :)
Yes, that's what Kyle suggested in the tutorial. I must admit, I have built many WordPress sites and have never created an About page as a post, but I'm open to trying new things. :)
Nothing wrong with trying new things that is for sure. That is what marketing is all about :) I think my problem may be that the theme hasn't been updated in a long time, so some things won't be as compatible. I am creating my about me page as normal for now, and I did manage to find a help form for the theme I am using (finally). So I have my fingers crossed that someone might reply. If not, I will just put it on the back burner and see how things go. And worse come to worse I will change the theme.
Good to hear. My advice is to always pick two or three alternative themes. I can't tell you how many times I have worked with a theme for days or weeks, only to find out that it won't do what I need it to do without major coding revisions. In that case, it's just not worth the time and effort to contact the theme author; much easier to install a new theme and keep on rolling.
Hi Tom, they do have comments.
I left Darcy this link and I don't know why it still has that pages don't get comments in the lessons! I've had comments on mine since I first joined, I figured it out. Pages DO Have The Option For Comments
