I have a tech website that is not updated for almost two years. It has some traffic but nothing good enough. I keep renewing the domain name because it still earns 200-300 doll

Hey Elias,

Of those "sub niches" you are referring to can be described as categories from inside your present tech site that is already providing you with a steady monthly income, then I recommend using those "sub niches" within the same site, under a relevant category.

Hope you find this helpful.

No I would stay with same, but rather scale as and when it is necessary as long as the other sub category niches go hand in hand with the broader niche

Example

It makes sense. The golf balls site is a similar example to my website.

Another note worth mentioning, your domain URL is not effected by SEO vs writing quality rich content with a good choice of keywords as the latter what would rank you in the search engines.

So I would not change my URL vs focusing on producing high impact content. Consistency also plays an important part, the recommendation is 2 - 3 posts a week a niche a site.

I think that old websites get ranked faster on Google. A new website would be more niche-focused. Of course, quality content and consistency are important.

From the answers and my research, it seems a better idea to add the new content to the existing website.

I agree with Warren, if the sub-niches are relevant. It could only boost what you already have, I am thinking. I am sure you will get some amazing feedback from the pros though.

They can boost the existing website and get ranked for their keywords faster. But a new website will be more niche-focused.

Hi, I would probably continue with the same website as long as the sub-niches are relevant

Yes, they are relevant. Thanks for your answer.

Authoring & Writing Content

We are in the business of content so we must write. The last months I write at least one article per day. It's about 1000-2000 per day and some days I write even more.

So

I try and release every two days and average 2500 to 3500 words. Produt revierws are generally a bit less at about 1.5k and take a day to write and publish.

This is sometihng I have been thinking about a lot as in whether I should be trying to reduce the word counts as I seem to be able to build words quickly...

I set myseof the goal of 17 posts and 40000 words for the first month of the SAC and hit it well. Have set the same for the second month.

This is a nice goal. My target for the reviews is the 1500 words too. Keep it up!

Hi LLias,

Good question.

I'm about 2 1/2 days to complete and publish an article. I've been consistent on that.

My total average words are around 2800 with around 53,000 words.

I have a new website and in the SAC.

Monica

That's great! You write a lot as well. I must set higher goals!

A minimum of 1000 a day, 7 days a week, for today I am at 2174, I try to post 5 blogs per week, but sometimes I need more days for one blog. For May I have published in total 23 blogs on 2 websites, I am now working on the 3rd website, a blog with 22 pages (for now, can become more)

I like your consistency. This is what I want to do with my website as well. Great job.

Thank you, success! I want to have the most original images, that's where I often go wrong, it cost me a lot of time, but I like it too much to create awesome visuals:)

OMG Loes,

You're amazing! I love your energy. Sadly I dropped my dive site temporarily to be involved in the SAC again. It's a lot better now that I understand a lot more.

Keep up the good work.

Monica

I have time and I love to write 😀success with the sac

That is phenominal work Loes!! I am going to to have reset my goals I think!!

I did the same - my original site is 'drifting' at the moment - I trry and do one post a week but don't always get that as am focusing on the SAC as well.

Hope it is going well for you Monica.

Paul

Thanks, success resetting😉

My goal, set in sitContent, is 12000 word a month and 12 posts

It sounds good. Thank you Ralph.

I’ve only been here a month but wrote 13,000 words, I’m looking to ramp this up though now I have all the site stuff done, like setting up anylitics, forms, search console etc.

Thanks for your answer Rus. This is is a nice start. Keep it up!

I do a minimum of 1k per day. I follow Stephen King's advice to write at least the minimum every day plus read that much from other writers each and every day to get better.

Some days I write 15k some I write 3k. It just depends on what I have researched beforehand and whether or not I am writing with personal experiences or need to find somebody who has written from personal experience.

It's a good advice to write a minimum per day. The 15k writing days sound impressive to me!

it's easier than you think especially if all you are doing is responding to questions and relating a story to each.

I will try it. Thank you!

Hi guys, I received an email today from someone who was asking to publish a guest post on my site.

His site has a 77 domain authority and I was thinking to ask him for

Couple things to keep in mind.
1. Does their topic fit your site?
2. What kind of links do they want to include in the post? Just a backlink or links to a product? Do those links make sense for your site?
3. If you do an article on their site and they do one on your site, be sure to disclose this as the FTC considers it a form of compensation.

I contacted him again and we agreed on the topic that he will write to my site.

I added him as a contributor and I will review his article. If everything is fine, I will publish it. If it does not add value to my site I will not accept it.

Thanks for the advice.

It is a good idea but you have to be careful as there are a lot of scammers about.
Normally no money changes hands as its reciprocal
(you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours arrangement)

He has a professional website with good articles. I will reply to publish an article on his site also.
Thanks!
