Wordpress does not show the full image but only 2 or 3 of all my images. The rest works perfectly fine. Can someone explain why?
You can clearly see what I mean on my f
Hi Helen, Tommy has it covered, in WP you will need to resize the image. Remember to keep the aspect ratio so it will not be distorted!
You might want to try resizing them. Here is a video I created. How To Re-size Images In Website
Are you talking about the very first image with the laptop and the green battery? Your page looked fine on my end. I would recommend making those images clickable however.
Hi Christian.
Yes the first image with the laptop and green battery.
You must have just seen it after I fixed it and thank you for your prompt response it is highly appreciated.
I went into the editing in wordpress earlier and played around with it a bit changed the aspect ratio to 4:3 which is what actually worked but I had no option to save it.
Later I discovered that just doing another change which was just rotating the image and rotating it back to normal I had an option to save and now it is working just fine. Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone I just want to know if I can empty out my images in my wordpress library. I have too many images on there and it becomes a hassle to browse through all of them. I
Thanks for this post. I'm such a pack rat I never toss anything, but it's nice to know about.
Correct, I meant to say you can only delete the unused ones without adverse effects.
:-)
Xin
I deleted the ones I didn't use anymore.
I resized the ones that were definitely too big.
But do not delete anything that you are using on your website... you'd pull your hair out
Happy new year!
Sarah
Pulling my hair out? I was thinking the same thing. Good thing I cancelled to delete and thought it would be better to first ask for opinions on here. Thank you
Clue
yes lol I always ask here first, we never know what stupid thing we are about to do sometimes ^^
Do not delete them! Unless you no longer want them to appear on your previous posts and pages. Once removed from your media library, they disappear from your public viewable site. You can easily find images you want in your library. Go to your media library from you dashboard, and use the "search" bar. As long as you have labelled your images to match what they are images of, you will find it easy to locate images no matter how large your library is.
As Ken said if you delete them from your library they will no longer appear in your posts and pages. Your latest image uploads will appear top left which makes it easier to find the image you're looking for.
Thanks Marion. Ken solved it for me. I have noticed that the latest image uploads are on the left but there are some I use multiple times so it takes time to find exactly what I am looking for.
Yes you can however, If you delete them from the
library they will disappear from your website as well.

Hi everyone. I am kind of stuck at this point. I am on course 2 lesson 4 where I have to create a post with keyword rich content. I do not understand the post at all. I have
'posts' are where you have many articles on one page and a 'page has just one article on it- in your dashboard you will see posts and pages- posts are called a blog roll because you just keep scrolling for more articles and the read more is so they will all fit and you don't have room in your main menu for all the titles- 'page' titles go in the menu
You guys are so awesome! Thanks for the prompt assistance. I hope to one day also be able to help others like you are helping me.
you can manually split the post like Strap said but also some wordpress themes do it automatically and some have just full posts. hth
When you are creating your post, you will notice 2 tabs at the top, visual and text. Click on the text tab and then put the curser where you want the post to say read more. At this point there is an icon above which says more. Click on this and that will do what you need it to do. Easy when you know how!
Hope this helps

Hi, I have done a lot of work on my laptop niche website and only just came to realize that amazon only pays $25 in commission on electronics. I really don't want $25 if some
Actually, Amazon has a program in which the commission % increases. Anyway, just type electronic affiliate programs+ in your search bar. You will find quite a few!
Thank you for the prompt response. I have not found something specifically for laptops, mostly accessories but would you care to elaborate a bit on the commission increases for electronics on amazon?
Amazon Affilaite website Operating Agreement is where you want to look. They do change the rules whenever they want.
Searching Google, and I researched laptops instead of electronics-per your request, I found the following companies...
Toshiba, Dell, Newegg, Best Buy, Lenovo, HP, etc.
Thank you. I have done the same before posting the question. I found dell and lenovo interesting but noticed that you had to sign up with commission junction. I still have to do some research on commission junction, linkshare and cj. I don't really know anything about how it works or what exactly they are just yet but I will. Thank you again for your support you really are a very helpful person.
