Help me understand this because I've come to the conclusion that i'm an internet tech retard. I'm having a hard time getting it. so I have lots of keywords and they go up and do

When somebody has better keywords as you, I guess.

They go up and down all the time Kyle says WA goes from page 1 to page 16

ok thanks that makes me feel better! for the ones that go down I have others going up at the same time so I guess it all evens out in the end

yes it does

Its probably because your website is still new. (called the google dance) Over time your website will settle. Just keep on adding good quality content google will notice. It takes time..

hope this helped.

ok now that makes sense lol thanks bmark

I want to save my websites before they get deleted and i'm wondering if I park them will I lose all the content or does that stay so when I finally get hosting I will have my we

If you don't have an active hosting account everything on your website will vanish. Back everything up on your computer before you 'park' your domain name. ~Marion

thanks Marion, I realized I could upload them over onto wordpress so i'll be able to keep working on them which is good. I'm afraid those programs are just too technical for me, but it's actually working find just exporting then importing.

Great. Using Export/Import works fine for your content but you need to install and configure your themes and plugins again because they don't get saved via the Export feature.

ok i'll make notes of all that thanks

If you own the domain name and discontinue your hosting. Only the domain name will be parked. And the domain name will only be parked for as long as you own the name.

You will need to do a full backup of your site prior to your hosting ending or you will loose everything on the site.

The host does not store that info after hosting has been teminated.

great thanks so much for the info everyone. Much appreciated

I think that content stays for 30 days after not paying...so you have 30 days to get another host...

You should do a full backup, then it can be restored later if needed

WordPress 4.2.3, a critical security release, was automatically pushed out to users yesterday to fix an XSS vulnerability. Shortly afterwards, the

seems WordPress went ahead and issued the security release without informing developers. I believe they fixed their fix lol! everything I use was down, theme, plugins.

No, my sites are hosted at WA, not Hostgator. A few people here, including me, have reported Visual Editor issues, but they were occurring before the upgrade.

Have you tried to temporarily switch to the default WordPress theme - TwentyFifteen. See if the issue is also present there. If it is okay in the default theme, then the problem could be with your theme.

You can then switch back to your current theme to see if the temporary switch reset the default codes.

The XSS affects javascript code. If the above does not help, try this
for diagnosing and possibly solving the issue:

It must be theme related? I've checked my sites and they are all fine.

Yes Hostgator changed my theme but when I read what was going on I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. way too technical for me :)

No issues on mine.
