If you don't have an active hosting account everything on your website will vanish. Back everything up on your computer before you 'park' your domain name. How to Back Up Your Website With FileZilla via FTP ~Marion
thanks Marion, I realized I could upload them over onto wordpress so i'll be able to keep working on them which is good. I'm afraid those programs are just too technical for me, but it's actually working find just exporting then importing.
Great. Using Export/Import works fine for your content but you need to install and configure your themes and plugins again because they don't get saved via the Export feature.
If you own the domain name and discontinue your hosting. Only the domain name will be parked. And the domain name will only be parked for as long as you own the name.
You will need to do a full backup of your site prior to your hosting ending or you will loose everything on the site.
The host does not store that info after hosting has been teminated.
I think that content stays for 30 days after not paying...so you have 30 days to get another host...

WordPress 4.2.3, a critical security release, was automatically pushed out to users yesterday to fix an XSS vulnerability. Shortly afterwards, the
seems WordPress went ahead and issued the security release without informing developers. I believe they fixed their fix lol! everything I use was down, theme, plugins.
No, my sites are hosted at WA, not Hostgator. A few people here, including me, have reported Visual Editor issues, but they were occurring before the upgrade.
Have you tried to temporarily switch to the default WordPress theme - TwentyFifteen. See if the issue is also present there. If it is okay in the default theme, then the problem could be with your theme.
You can then switch back to your current theme to see if the temporary switch reset the default codes.
The XSS affects javascript code. If the above does not help, try this
for diagnosing and possibly solving the issue:

Yes Hostgator changed my theme but when I read what was going on I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. way too technical for me :)

When somebody has better keywords as you, I guess.
