Hello ! I need to build a website from scratch, not with wordpress and I was wondering if it's still possible for me to host the website at WA even though I am not building it
It would have to be a Wordpress based website, and if it is, the process to move it over here is fairly straightforward. If it has been built using other technology, then you would want to keep it where it is at.

The only sites that can be hosted and/or built on the WA servers are WordPress sites and nothing else.

May I ask why you are choosing to do it that way? You are paying for hosting, why not use it. I moved all of my hosting to WA from bluehost and manage my DNS in cloudflare. Managing code on your own server is a lot of overhead.

Is there a reason why you don't want to use WordPress? The reason I'm asking is because I've been here at WA for almost a decade and I can tell you the website hosting is top-knotch. Plus, we get 24/7 tech support from WA. Whenever I've had any issues with my website, I email Support and literally get a solution within minutes. Just something to think about. :) Debra

You can have any theme you want - so you can choose one compatable with woocommerce and there is a plugin to show a catalog rather than dropshipping.

Unless you are working with a drop shipper, you'll need to either have the products yourself or not get in between the merchant and the consumer any more than just passing along the consumer.

SHOPIFY is a great place to start and learn about creating a merchant account. Oberlo is also good for dropshipping. AliExpress is another area you can search out.
With SHOPIFY you must set up shop on their site.Then you can advertise your products on your WA site.

2. What you want is something akin to drop shipping which makes great money in a profitable niche like yours.
Another great idea is to adopt styles like eBay or Gilt.com techniques to still write enough item specifics and include bullet point summary of product reviews.
Then below add the option of add to cart or buy it now. View cart or continue shopping. Offer promo codes as slide show option at the top of the header bar on your website. Something like Saks.com. And add a link to click : see details .
3. On the top slider where you want to add only 4 coupons. Mention terms and exclusions .
4. Preferably on your home page, a slow mo vector diagram / fashion designer sketches of a woman wearing makeup :video

5. Add categories: face: eyes: lips: skin: hair as top bar menu categories. Choose high contrast colors and geometric trends .

ok I just downloaded woocommerce and I'm looking for a woocommerce friendly wp theme right now. At what point do I get a wholesaler? do I do that while I'm setting up my woocommerce or is it a step I have to do separately? I'm sorry, this is Chinese to me lol
Getting a wholesaler or signing up with aliexpress needs to be done first. Take a look at "wholesale ted" videos on YouTube and you will learn alot more about aliexpress- there are pros and cons...(example long delivery times)
You can also find wholesalers in trusted wholesale directories. For example "worldwide brands" (there is a lifetime once off membership fee to get access for 299 usd)
If you do Amazon with WooCommerce they won't buy on your site. Instead you send them to Amazon as well.
It just looks like a store.
There are plugins that update prices from Amazon but I heard that they are not always reliable.
You'd have to worry more about Amazon...if your prices are outdated they might shut you down.
Dropshipping is something completely different.
I would educate myself first as this is rather complex.
I see hmmmmmm. So it seems it'd be more reliable for me to use links directly from the brands themselves rather than amazon links, right? brands are more unlikely to change prices and they update links I believe or at least send you a notification, hopefully. I will see what I do about amazon and I'm definitely going to learn about dropshipping, thanks a lot again !
If you do dropshipping, your customer pays the price you display.
Then you buy the item for the wholesale price and keep the difference.
Your margins must be high enough to cover your costs.
And if the wholesale price changes it's up to you to adjust your price.
