I have a travel website and I could easily make hundreds of posts on my site. Is there ever a time where there are too many posts on a site?
There's one way that I can see the possibility of having too many posts -- Be sure that you don't allow your posting quantity to cause your posting quality to suffer.
High quality posts, even fewer of them, will attract traffic and links. This should, in turn, result in better rankings. Low quality posts won't get read nor shared, nor will they rank well.
Another potential problem would be in ensuring that your posts are well organized so that your visitors will be able to find them easily without getting overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of posts.
I don't think so, I only know that your media library has 3gb space, so be aware of resizing your pictures right from the beginning, don't upload full sized pictures
uh oh... So, what is the "preferred" size of images? Also, is there a way to determine where each image is located on one's site? ...geez.. this is not good....
Most containers are between the 500-900 px so you can downsize your images all beneath the 900 px - this container here is 540 px
I downsize all my picture to 500 px
Digital photographs are sometimes over 3000 px, that really takes up a lot of space.
Where can I see how much space each post is taking up? I would like to see so I can plan my posts out better.
Thanks
Collin
Awesome. So there is no limit on how much I can write, just how many pictures I can add? But obviously a great post will need pictures..
