Need Motivation
I have just graduated high school and am ready to move on with my life. In the last month or so I have not done anything for my website at all. I have lost all the motivation to work. After getting to the page where I cancel my membership, I decided to keep the premium membership and start up again. I plan to begin working this week on my site once again! Any tips to staying motivated?

Let me tell you a real life story:
Imagine, you want to start-up a carpentry. But you know nothing about wood, nails, machinery etc. You have to go to school (4 years) to learn the basics. Then you have to go to learn to become a specialist (2 years) At last, you can start-up your own business. You need a shed $5000,- Machinery $2000. Invest in wood, nails and screws etc. another $2500. You don't have one client yet. You need to go out to find work. You have to advertise in the local papers and make flyers to sent to every home $500.
you will have a debt of $10000,- and you will not have any client yet.
Then the first clients come, and they order a big fence, and you are eager to make it for them. Then you are ready and you sent the bill. To your surprise, the payment stays out. You give it a call, and they promise you to pay. After a month, you still don't have your money. You have to call again....
You are working hard, making more sheds and tables. Business is going great, you can start to pay-off your loan of $10000.
After 5 years of hard labor, you finally have your loan paid off, and you can breathe a little easier.
That's real life! That's how most self-employed people earn their money.
I hope this story will motivate you to give it 100% for, let's say, 1 year?
A lot of people have left very nice feedback on my posts and told me I am motivational, maybe you would like to have a read through them :)
Hello Chillyheat, staying motivated to me is a discipline because it takes time. Do you have a vision of where you want to be, let's say five years from now? Have you established a plan on how to get there? I would start there and then break your five year plan down annually, monthly, weekly. Set goals for each of these point and celebrate when you complete a goal.
Best decision ever
