Hi - you are dropshipping rather than affiliate marketing?

I personally believe it's much more difficult, as you need to deal directly with customers, sorting out their problems, refunds, complaints, returns, etc.

Whereas, with affiliate marketing, you simply send the customer to the merchant and receive a commission.

Plus, it will be a challenge to rank a Shopify site highly, even if you have lots of blog content, as essentially, it is still a shop rather than a helpful, informational site.

You could write about why people should purchase from your online store instead of the big retailers.

What are the benefits from shopping with you?

Do you deal with all animals or just cats and dogs?

What can you offer your shoppers that’s better than other shops?

Will they get any free samples with their purchases? Etc.
Hope this helps.

It would be good to find out what your target audience is asking in questions and then try to answer them in your posts to the best of your ability.

You update it with regular posts to drive organic traffic to your shop, or merchant's websites and stores.

I don't know where you are in training, but you need to follow up to the tee and do the tasks and activities asked of your bottom of the lessons to help you set up properly and guide you through the process.

Hi - take a look at my post to see what they expect. The main reasons for being rejected are not having an Affiliate Disclosure, not having enough content to attract visitors, and having any copied and pasted content.

You will never be accepted for AdSense if you have any copied content because Google will not rank your site high enough to be found by anybody.

And, of course, if you have no visitors, the advertisers will not make any money.

I have a website, still would like to make it an e-commerce site to sell products. Just don’t have any experience on where to start out at

Affiliate marketing is a much more straightforward way to grow your online business. Nothing against e-commerce, but for that to work you need your own products.

Without those, not only do you have to figure out how to get them, on top of that have to set yourself up for shipping, dealing with returns, etc.

Meanwhile, the training here sets you up for success with affiliate marketing where you don’t need your own products at all.

Definitely something to consider.

Ok thanks

No worries, and you're awesomely welcome!

You need to look up dropshipping businesses in line with your niche. Or you can stock your own however you would need a working capital for your inventory.

You also need to be cautious when you sign up with merchants as not for them to use your customers for their marketing campaigns. You need to include a clause in your contract not for them to retain your customers. You want to ask them to deliver packages without their corporate identity on the packages.

I would be very wary and do my due diligence.

You need to pay upfront for them to drop ship. Some may require prior banking | credit card approval before business is conducted.

You may use PayPal and Stripe gateways to process transactions, however if you are expecting large cash intake, I would sign up to the latter as PayPal would freeze newly opened accounts.

Profit margins won't be as high because you are not making the goods, it requires dropshipping. Therefore, there's an extra cost associated.

And you still have to deal with customer services and respond to their inquiries, providing succinct transparency throughout.

And the most essential of all businesses is marketing, you still have to find a way to market your dropshipping business. One way is via Facebook Ads, however that can be costly if you do not know what you are doing.

The other way is to incorporate a blog and have it SEO optimized, whereby you regularly update it with relevant content pertaining to your niche, to drive organic traffic to your dropshipping store.

The latter is no different to affiliate marketing, except then you would be diverting traffic to merchants' stores pending your visitor making an informed decision go ahead click your links go purchase the item/s you proposed to solve their issue.

However, you don't have to deal with your visitor as then this is the merchant's responsibility, or drop shipping goods, lateness etc.

I hope this helps.
