I've been test-driving Gutenberg via the plugin on a test website. It looks good https://marionblackonline.com/wordpress-5-0-gutenberg/
Yes, it basically offers a canvas type approach to content writing. Kind of a WYSIWYG approach. It's pretty but will leave a lot of unnecessary HTML code all over the place.
If it works for you then go for it.

Hi Dave,
Thanks so much for the info.
You mentioned unnecessary codes all over the place.
I'm planning to use a site builder. Hope the Gutenberg will not affect or disrupt what I've done.
Well, it' just that canvas-type editors/builders will naturally generate extra HTML but is not a major issue. For me as a blogger and coder, less is more. It depends on what you want to do.
Go for it!

Hi,
What kind of themes do you use for WP Sites?
I'm contemplating of buying Beaver Theme or Generate Theme. Anyone has experience in either one?
There are hundreds of free theme to choose from. Just pick the one that suits your niche.
I used neither of the two you mentioned.
I used several different ones and change s it if I am not happy with it.
Go ahead and try as many until contented.
I am not familiar with any of those.
Now, I use Divi from Elegant Themes for all my sites.
I have landed on that one because it is a very advanced theme that lets me have a total influence of all parts of the design and since all professional theme has a learning curve it's more time effective to stick with one.
I guess that Surfside Bob gave you a pretty good answer...
I personally do not know the ones you mention.
There are thousands of themes out there.
Good luck!
Just be sure YOU got the right one.
Tom
But the Thrive concept is good also. I tried them but went back to Divi because there were things in the Thrive theme designs that couldn't be altered without hard coding.
Hey, I actually use the one in the system. There are tons of them to use, but if you don’t find any that pleases you you can outsource one. Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with the other ones outside of the system. Hope someone else can assist you with this. Good luck!
I've purchased about 25 premium themes from Modern Themes at https://modernthemes.net/ if that helps. Fully customizable and great support. Peace. :-)

Hi,
Can anyone recommend good membership plugins for WP websites?
Maybe pros & cons too.
I think you can find some help here Azman.

David
Thanks for sharing the link.
Anyone has experienced using membership plugins? Any issues to look out for?
Can anyone help with membership plugins? This post has a few recommendations in the comments thread, Azman but plugin use is primarily a personal thing. Great reviews of products can help with selection. That's what those reviews are for.
They are being used by those who have experience working with them.

Hi,
In WA, there is superb platform at this ink https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/comments
Can I submit my posts on my own domains which are hosted outside
Marion has given the definitive answer to your question. You could always transfer those sites to WA. Then you would have comments on your site. Otherwise, you would probably have to add a plugin to get them on your other sites which could slow the site speed.
Anita
No. It's just for websites hosted here. There's a drop-down list of your sites which are hosted at WA and you have to choose from that list.
There's an alternative thread at Need website comments? the give and take comment thread And there's a Facebook comment exchange group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/639097012934061/ which you can ask to join.

Is there a list on members who are ranked 201 to 1,000 ? I can't seem to find it, if any.
My main purpose is to check out their profiles, blogs and training. I also wan
Good question.
I even proposed/suggested profile filters here : Wa survey : how to make wa platform better ?
I say go for it!!!!! I do it with what little time I have. There is so much knowledge here at WA that we(people like us thirsting for more understanding) haven't even tapped onto yet. In so doing, I have found many answered and unanswered questions. Best wishes.
If you know the persons name you can look at their profile but only that individuals profile, not more than one at a time. Xx
I don't believe there is. I once tried to find out who owned a 4 digit rank on a day and there's no way!
The rest so I believe is invisible...other than THEY have ADDED you or YOU them...
Do you want to see 10000 or more members...
Not 100% sure about this one...
Tom
hahaha. Definitely not 10,000 or 100,000.
Just the range from 201 to 1,000. Only 800 members.
Anyways. No big deal.
Hi,
I believe that you'd click on the Rank button next to your profile picture. It shows the top 200 people.
Hope that helps.
That's what I'm saying. I could only see 200. How about the rest? Are there a list that I can go through?
