Hi, I'm Cheryl Brown and been a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate for 5 years now. As well as creating my two websites, in the 5 years I have been a member, I have learnt a lot. The training and support from the Community here are second to none. I am proud to say I was an Ambassador for over 300 days even though I had never even thought about becoming one.
I am in Scotland and have been married to David, we have a daughter and twin boys. We also have Jake and Tootsie. Having lived in Scotland all my life, I have no intentions of leaving such a beautiful country. The only let down here is the weather as it is so unpredictable.

Hey Cheryl,
You can definitely achieve these goals and I know that you will make it happen. The key is to dedicate yourself to your training here at WA. Follow the training, take action on what you learn, and ask questions when you have them.
It all starts with a goal - you can now start working toward it!
Talk to you soon,
Carson

Hi Cheryl,
Thank you for returning my follow. I visited Scotland back in 1987/88 when I traveled to the UK to see my relatives there. Didn't see a lot of it but one day will return to see more. I only got to see Edinburgh and Glasgow for a night, stayed in Inverness for a couple of days and did a train trip where I could see the Highlands, so I definitely need to go back to see more. Wishing you much success.

I have lived in Scotland all my life and never moved out off it although in my younger days I did work all over the place.
Mainly up north on the big Estates for the Aristocracy.
Now I'm in Auld Reekie and intend to stay here.
Enjoy your evening.

That's good to know. I have been the same Robert and never will leave. I stay in Penicuik now but I originally come from a small mining village about 10 miles from Edinburgh which is called Rosewell. I really don't expect you to have heard of it though lol. xx

I know Rosewell very well Cheryl and in fact my grandparents and parents and an uncle and cousins have all lived there.
As far as I know there is still one cousin living there today.

My grandparents are dead now as is my father.
They all worked on the farms
One of them was Goorlaw and the other Gortonlee (think I've spelled them right lol)
My mother worked in Rosslynlee. That was when there was still a train station over the back of Rosewell.
My Grandparents were Cockburns and my uncle was their son.
My parents were called Aitchison and one of my uncles lived down the road in Bonnyrigg.
My cousin is a Cockburn

Hi Cheryl,
I loved reading your profile. My grandmother grew up in the UK,
and I love the language. I, of course, speak the American English language....being from the State of New York. I live in an area about 65 miles north of NYC, and we have many farms in the area.
Anyway, It looks like you are doing well. Good rank, and writing plenty of Posts.
I wish you every success.

Thank you Mike, there are a few others here too that have Scottish connections. I love New York, we were there in 2012 for Thanksgiving as I wanted to see the Macy's thanksgiving day parade. We also went to the Metlife twice to see the Jets first and then the Giants. I did a blog at Thanksgiving on our trip to New York.
Thanks for the follow and same to yourself. Xx

Hi and yes I am Scottish through and through.I stay 10 miles outside Edinburgh. The Highlands are lovely, especially the scenery but agree the only downside is the weather as we are never guaranteed to get what they forecast and can have the four seasons in one day. The Highlands would be a nightmare for the midges lol. Where do you stay now? xx
