Good day everyone,
Just want to find out from the community whether you can actually earn money on a free website or is a bought domain better? What's the difference bet
SiteRubix domain also works perfectly fine for search result but in a long time it may decrease the ranking because most of the visitors don't trust the free website. So, they may not visit your website more than one time or may not view other pages in your website due to which your user engagement will be less and your website bounce rate will be increased. That may result a drop in Google ranking. So, a private domain like .com will be better than the free one. After all, it only costs around $13 to $15 per year, so it's better to go for a private domain. Among private domain also .com works better than .net or .org because visitors easily remember .com than other private domains. So, it's better to choose .com domain.
Free domain don't do as well as bought ones. So if your question is which one is better?
The obvious answer is bought domain. Best of luck.
I prefer a dot.com domain name as it is a domain where siterubix is a sub domain so looked at differently by the search engines.

Free domains never really are yours. Someone had to pay for them, and that's the owner. Don't you want to own your work?

I've seen people with well-established sites created with Wordpress.com (instead of Wordpress.org) lose their sites and years of work. No recourse - Wordpress.com for one reason or another took it down and there was absolutely nothing they could do.
Spend the money and buy your own domain. Nothing is ever really free.

I have couple of affiliate programs but having a bit of trouble with the different links,text, banners ect that I need to add to my site. For example
Make sure you add all of the text provided with the banner. One part of it will be the destination URL. The other part will be the image source - img src.

Free domains never really are yours. Someone had to pay for them, and that's the owner. Don't you want to own your work?
