Hi Folks

I'm sad to say that today I lost my beloved Mandy. Mandy and I tried to lengthen our time together but it was inevitable that she would soon cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Mandy and her sister Milly were together for 14 years. Milly left us in 2015, and now Mandy has gone to join her.

I've been absent a lot over past weeks from WA and have not met my SWAG commitments. But Mandy was family and she had to come first.

My sincere thanks to the members who knew Mandy was ill. I thank you for your kind words of support.

It's evening now in NZ, but I will be back again tomorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have always had cats in my life and each one that passes is never forgotten. She is with her sister now and maybe she even has met some of my guys and girls. Take care and always remember the life she had with you.

Thank you very much for your kind words.
They are greatly appreciated.

It's great to know you had a cat like Mandy. Sleeping on the bed was Mandy's thing, too!

You are so welcome Valerie

Hi Valerie,

Mandy was adorable! I've always had at least one tuxedo cat in my home. I currently have three cats - they are my family. I understand your devastation. When they leave it never gets easier, no matter how many times you go through it. I'm sending my sincere condolences.

Thank you Wendy for your kind message and condolences.
Much appreciated.

Of course Mandy had to come first. Your house will seem very empty now... I feel for you. But the thought of the field beyond the Rainbow Bridge, where our pets are waiting for us, is such a lovely one.

I have a Labrador who is nearly 11 years old now and I am already dreading the thought of losing her.

Sending you lots and lots of comforting thoughts.

~ Isabella

Thank you very much Isabella.
Kind thoughts to you and to your Labrador.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Valerie.
I know how hard it is to lose a beloved little family member.

Sweet little Mandy not alone but together with sweet sister Milly in Rainbow Land is a solacing thought.

Thinking of you and sending you my best greetings.
:-)

Thank you Pernilla for your lovely message.

Valerie I am so sorry to hear of your special furry companion passing.. I know how attached we can get to our pets and it is like losing a very special friend..
It is always difficult and the thought of replacing them seems afar off. I love my Ace,( called Ace because he is as black as) and he is much the same age as your Mandy.
I cannot conceive another cat ever being able to replace him, so yes my thoughts go out to you today.
Take care and God Bless
Judy

Thank you very much Judy.
I appreciate your kind message.
Blessings to you, and to Ace.

I was hesitant reading your post because I was highly suspicious that it concerned the loss of a cat, and that would make me feel hurt.

Too bad I have to deal with the pain now.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know exactly what it feels like because I'm a big cat fan too.

But when I realized it was difficult for me to detach from them, I started avoiding them. Quite a controversial solution.

The last time I lost my cat, I was so greatly affected that it took me so much time to recover. When I did, I just realized that the only way around cats was to completely avoid them for my own good.

Take heart, Valerie.

Thank you Nsoh for your kind message.

I'm sorry to learn you have had difficult experiences due to the loss of your cats. I'm sure it is a wise decision of yours not to have another cat. It is so hard to make that final parting with them when the time comes.

Take care.

Valerie

I understand the heartache of losing a furry friend. I lost my beloved Kali in 2017. I had a beautiful chocolate lab, which was 8 years old. She developed cancer later in life, so we have to end her suffering. This was one of the hardest things to do in my life. We have a true bond, for she was my riding buddy and bestfriend. Just remember you will see Mandy again, for she will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. God Bless You!

Thank you Emily for your lovely message.

I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved Kali last year. My daughter lost her Schnauzer in 2017 due to cancer, also. It is heartbreaking when we have to end the life of our pets. As you say, we will meet our loved ones again.
Blessings.

Hi Valerie, I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't get to know Mandy. but my love is forevermore. She is resting now without pain. I really know what it's like to lose a pet, they are like our children, and they are family.

She will be missed!

Blessings!

Louisa B

Thank you very much Louisa for your kind message.

Blessings to you.
