That's it

Thanks for reading through this tutorial. I hope you have found it useful.

Here are some resources on import/export as mentioned before in the training:
Training by Kyle on using the native Wordpress tool: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-back-up-your...
External 'how-to' by Elegant Themes on the same subject: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/tips-tricks/import-export...
Video by Marion on backup/restore via plugin: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/full-backup-with-a-...

I hope there are no big errors or misinformation on my side on this topic.

If you find something that is not easy to understand, or something that needs correcting, please contact me and I will fix it.

Remember that if you are in doubt on how to do things, always double check, make backups, ask advice and if you still are uncertain, don't start the process until you have a clear picture of what is involved.

Also, if you have questions, I will answer as best as I can in the comments, and you can also send me a PM.

Hi Jorn thank you for this.
I have outgrown my original Siterubix website and i need to change over ro a stand alone website.
I know i can use information in this tutotial. Thank you for writing it.
I. Have over 500 comments that i would like to take with me to the new domain. Do you have and ideas around that?
I see that triblu has also asked that question.

When moving from a siterubix subdomain, I think SiteSupport can help you with the move of a complete site including comments and ranking.
(Most likely this is not a 'moving' of the site, it is more a change of where the new domain is pointing.)

If moving single posts and wanting to keep comments, you can do an export/import like suggested in a comment below.
I will update the training to mention this.

Hi Jorn, Thank you for your reply. You know I actually had not thought about contacting SiteSupport on this one.
You are right of course that would be an easy #1st question to ask.

Thanks for the tips. I have still book marked this training in case I need it. Cheers
