Build your new website
The first thing you need to do is to build your new website.
Since all of this is widely covered elsewhere, I will not go into the details of the process.
But you need to build it up to the point where you are ready to post content.
When that is done you are ready to start transferring content.

I have outgrown my original Siterubix website and i need to change over ro a stand alone website.
I know i can use information in this tutotial. Thank you for writing it.
I. Have over 500 comments that i would like to take with me to the new domain. Do you have and ideas around that?

When moving from a siterubix subdomain, I think SiteSupport can help you with the move of a complete site including comments and ranking.
(Most likely this is not a 'moving' of the site, it is more a change of where the new domain is pointing.)
If moving single posts and wanting to keep comments, you can do an export/import like suggested in a comment below.
