Completed Three Months Today!
What a journey it has been! From the wide-eyed greenhorn I was then to someone who is already managing to do his own SEO, and being successful at it, the trip has been just incredible. Despite having no experience in any course on internet marketing, forget about online business, I have been reluctant to go for these so-called training on affiliate marketing. I must admit that I was cynical to the core of most things related to how-to-earn-money-online schemes. I had been hearing of success stories but thought most of these were only tall claims to dupe gullible newbies on a quick-buck fraudulent venture. My scepticism was mainly because I had not come across any person within my close circles who had managed to earn even a dime through online activities. I needed a proof, you see.
Notwithstanding my scepticism, I knew deep inside, there were genuinely workable ways to monetise our online activities and have been itching to grab hold of a good training on it. I knew an acquaintance of mine who I had heard was into internet marketing and the stuff. However, when I wanted to know more about it (I had called him up once), he was not so forthcoming with his answers and I had a suspicion that either he himself wasn’t successful at it or he didn’t want to share his secret with me.
Life went on until that fateful evening when a friend of mine from my university days called me up telling me about this wonderful community called Wealthy Affiliate. Providence, it looked like, because this was exactly I had been looking for. I signed up as a Premium Member on 15th September and there has been no looking back ever since. It hasn’t been exactly smooth sailing (obviously) but altogether it has been an enriching experience. For the first time in my life, I was doing something that I really love. I do not know what lies in store for me but I feel that I’m on the right track. I only need to work hard and be sincere in my efforts.

To say the truth, I have been following your progress as we share the same country of origin (and have come across very few in the community) and we joined more or less at the same time (September 11 for me). So, I kind of measure my progress in comparison with yours and let me say, I am so woefully short that I shouldn't even be making any comparison... lol!
Btw, I think I will need some lessons on SEO from you!!

What I have learned till now is that there's so much more to learn :) It's never going to be a short route to success. I'm here for the long haul and I do not mind if I do not start earning immediately because the knowledge I will be gaining here will definitely help me stand on my feet in the long run. I only wish I had more than 24 hours in a day because juggling my time between my office exigencies and my own training here is somewhat stressful.

You know, if I'm successful someday, mine can a good case study for anybody willing to invest one's trust in WA.
On second thoughts, it can be a good case study material if I fail.
