Training frequently references using call-to-action buttons and links, but I have not learned how to create or get them. I know how to set up affiliate links, but (e.g.) not
A Call To Action is simply pointing people in the direction of, for example WA.
You don't need an actual call to action button.
You can have a call to action as a text link or a link within an image.
A simple call to action could simply be -
CLICK HERE
You highlight the words in Edit Mode
Click on the paper clip icon
insert your link within the box that appears directly under those highlighted words.
Click the little cog wheel to the right of the box
tick open in new Tab bos
Click Save.
Preview the page and test the link out.

How do I change my theme? I do not like the one I selected.
on you WP dashboard look down the right hand side menu and got to 'Appearance' then 'themes'
This will show you the themes you have installed and ready to activate.
The one top left is your current active one.
Hover over any of the others and you will see the activate button.
Hope that helps.
