I want to add advertising banners to my site, but not within a post. Just banners on my first page. Any help greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you mean by first page. Perhaps you want it in sidebar? If so there are several good trainings by Leoemery, Labman, Nathaniell, just search.
The procedure is the same if you add an image to sidebar, you make it with a link. If this is a ready-made code just add it into text widget.

I have added Amazon links to pages on my website but they won't work. I have added two before and they work and still do. What am I doing wrong?
I had trouble with my amazon links working then not working. I found that if I collect the link by highlighting then cutting the whole highlighted section using a drop down, it worked perfectly if I embed it into the text on my wordpress page. It wasn't the way I was doing it before but it has consistently worked for me since !
Got it working now! I was putting he link in the visual editor instead of text. Thanks for your help.

Hi and thanks! I put a link in keep positive page to Jack Canfield book and also one in exercise and fitness for ft it watch. I have links in gratitude for books on Amazon also and they work fine.
It appears to me that some of the necessary info in the link is missing. Try going back to Amazon and get the link again and replace it.

I would love to do 90 day challenge but need more details but can't find the pet about it. Any help appreciated
Hi Sharon, it was started by Tony Hamilton sometime end of Oct. He invited the WA members on this 90-day challenge with a list of goals and to share the results here every 10 days. Few of the members here started it almost the same time.
But no idea why and since when he removed the post. So can't retrieve it here with the list of guides he gave. Let's see what his reply to you.
I didn't participate as I prefer a shorter challenge for the last call of 2015. So, I started a 45-day challenge on 17-Nov prior to 2016. Will review it by 31 Dec and start a new one for 2016.
I think you may create any challenge that fit your own action plan and goals. Wishing you all the best and let's strive for the last call of 30 days for 2015 before entering 2016.

Hello, I am over a third of the way done on the 90 day challenge. Originally you were to blog your progress each day but most of us are doing one week progress or 30-60-90 day progress blogs. The main thing is to plan out your goals 90 days in advance and then break down what you need to do at 30-60-90 day intervals. Then break it down even further so you know what you need to do on a weekly and daily basis to reach your 90 day goal. Then you blog your goals and your progress along the way. Tony can fill you in on any details that I have missed. I look forward to following you. Dave.

If you do want to just change your posts over to pages I use a plugin called 'Post Type Switcher'. Works really simple!
You bet... I actually went the other way and had too many pages in my menu so I took a bunch of my pages and converted them into posts. Cleaned up the menu bar and made it a lot less cluttered...(-;
