Day 139 with Wealthy Affiliate: 10th June 2015, A Baby Boomer was born 70 years ago today
10th of June 1945, A Baby Boomer was born 70 years ago today. And I woke up this morning with mixed feelings.
Today, I'm officially 70 years old. You know...Threescore and ten? (sob) 25550 days on this wonderful Planet Earth that was created by God for His ONLY begotten SON.
I just had a hug from old hubbie at 7.30am, then he had to return to work 360 miles away. I've still yet to get my hug from son who's still at work though he remembered to text me "Happy Birthday mum" at 6.50am while on the train to work.
Bit of an anti-climax as I thought reaching 70 will result in holidays, celebrations, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, storms and Rainbows.
Though there was bright sunshine at 8.00am, from 9.00am the sun went behind clouds and haven't come out to play since. What's it hiding from I wonder? A foretell?
At 3.45pm rain started pelting, and the sun definitely wasn't about to get wet, so it wisely stayed behind clouds. The rain had melted to a drizzle by the time son called at 6.00pm for me to come pick him up at the station. I got there 1hr 45mins later (I ususally get to him in 25mins.). We reached home at 8.30pm.
The lift was crowded and took all of 30mins to reach the 19th floor. All thoughts about birthday hugs went out the window as he scrambled to shower before dinner at 9.15pm. Then he needed to chat with his friends all over the world before he hit the sack for much needed beauty sleep by 11.00pm. Alarm will go off at 5.00am.
So, that's my birthday today. How was yours?
And what's that about Rainbows? Well, I thought since it's my Birthday today the Lord will show the Rainbow as in "Genesis 9:12 to 17", since the sun was hiding behind clouds. And He did mention "Man's age will be threescore and ten" in the Bible, so this should be significant as in no other days. (boo hoo)
So why the Mixed Feelings, you ask?
Well for one, might I remind you that the Bible said "Man's age shall be Threescore and ten"? (or 70years, I forget how that went) This gives me misgivings. I mean, that's a conclusive statement, no?
Do I have a "Day 140 with Wealthy Affiliate" after "Day 139 with Wealthy Affiliate" are officially over? What is God telling me here. That's it, that's the end of the road?! Or, "So, what's next Shirley"?
So OK, I've reached my threescore and ten years, and I'm officially 70 years old.
Now what? I don't know.....you tell me!

Happy 70th Bithday and I believe the days in biblical time is different different than days today; only God knows when our last breath on earth will be; some live a day, a month, years and like my mom has been here on this goof ole earth that God created over four scores (94); you may have many more years so take each day and enjoy what God Has given you!
