Some reorganizing of my site
After looking at my site, and trying to navigate it myself, I found myself a bit annoyed at what I had done.
I hadn't properly tried to navigate from page to page like others might have to do, and I had most of my pages with 1000 plus words! That is just a huge wall of text, so I decided that I was going to reorganize and better structure my site.
I sat down with a pencil and notebook and wrote out how I would like to interlink from one page to the next to make it easier for anyone who comes to my site, and I also took the time to write out entirely new content for the old pages for one very solid reason; I don't want people to be overwhelmed.
After being here at WA for a while, I know that I can get overwhelmed if I try too much in one day, and then I thought about how it much feel for someone who is new to my niche to view my pages. I had 1-2 images for 750-1000 words! What a nightmare! :P
The site is starting to look a lot better, and I am making up some of my own pictures that are just colored text that makes for a good question on the page. I want to get people to be visually captivated to an extent, but I also want people to be given something to think about.
All that being said, I still have a bunch of work with this new structure. I really should have done this from the beginning so that I wouldn't have to re-write my content, but I think that this has served to be a good lesson to me :)

Seems this is an ongoing process! (Like a writing a book that is constantly changing!) Checked site...did not look at all the links but I see "What will you do on your computer" banner links to it's own image. You much further than me. I still got to work all this out. Know what you mean by being "overwhelmed!"

I noticed you mentioned that you have a written guide in the works. That might be a great way to pick up subscribers. Doing a great job man!
Hi there. Your site is looking good. I found the links were flowing naturally and I liked that. I see that some of them take you to posts that haven't been created yet. It may be worthwhile to unlink those until you actually have the post, I think it would lead to a better user experience.
I also found the font a little small. Do you think it would be useful to make it larger and easier to read? Also, you need to remove the Meta Widget from your sidebar. I don't think it's useful.
I think you're accomplishing what you intended so good job. Great idea with the notebook to map out your site, I like that and have used it myself.
Thanks for checking out the site Rick, and thanks for the support :) I am glad to hear that the site seems to be flowing more smoothly now, and I am going to hopefully have those pages done by tomorrow morning so maybe I will unlink them temporarily like you suggested :)

Your site looks really good and interesting. I gotta read your site because I like to learn stuff like that.
One thing though that Jay always suggest, is to either have your images wrapped around your content to the right, or in the middle.
He says this because if you have your images to the left of your content it breaks up the reading pattern for your visitors.
You really want people to stay engaged in your content and not give someone an excuse to leave.
Your site is interesting and people will learn a lot of information from it including myself. All the best to you.
I love those colored word graphics! And I think you have some nice, manageable chunks of text now. I'm an article writer and we are told to keep paragraphs only 2 to 3 paragraphs because many people today read on their phone and it's too difficult with a long block of text. Lookin' really good! Keep going.
