$319 commission from an "abandoned site"
Just wanted to send a short encouragement for all of you working on your sites.
I have a website that I haven't basically worked at all for 1,5 years.
- 0 new posts for 1,5 years.
- I check the site probably once in 1-3 months to see that it's still up. (takes maybe 5 minutes).
But it's still throwing me some commissions occassionally.
For example, today I checked my phone and got this email:
It says that the company that I had promoted just sent me $319.
Nothing huge but still something here and there for doing nothing.
Let this be a reminder for all of yo who are working on your sites and thinking, "Will this work ever pay off?"
Yes, it will pay off for years or even decades to come.
It's also worth mentioning that I think I get the traffic for the site from Bing Ads but it doesn't require any managing.
Bing Ads is great by the way. I haven't used it very much but the little that I have used has been good. Go through Kyle's training on Bootcamp level 6 if you haven't already.
A good thing with that is that even though your site wouldn't rank on Google anymore, you can still drive traffic even for a very cheap price and leave it on autopilot.

Google is too expensive for what I can spend right now. And, more strict is not good! I think I will try Bing. :)
I need to take the PPC training. I stopped there when I started doing the SAC.

While $319 may not be a huge amount in itself, it can make a huge difference to someone in terms of their disposable income. Many people don't have that much left for the working month after all the bills are paid, and that makes it an even better demonstration of the power of Wealthy Affiliate than the big cheques, because more people out there in the 'Real World' can identify with that and see it as realistically achievable by them.
Thanks for sharing, hopefully plenty of newbies will read this too and get some inspiration to keep on keeping on.
