Hi there! I'm Christina! I just wanted to give you a little bit of my background, why I'm an affiliate marketer, and why I'm here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Several years ago, I had two small children. (Oh, I still have them. They’re just bigger now.) They were in daycare, and I was working a standard 9-5 boring, soul-sucking job.
I kept thinking “This can’t be it, right? I have to leave my kids AND be stuck in this dumb gray cubicle all day?”
I realized at that time that there were many moms (and dads) just like me who were unsatisfied with their working lives. I set out to find the perfect solution - for all of us.
I found that solution in affiliate marketing and specifically, Wealthy Affiliate. They taught me how to do everything I needed to do, step by step.
That's part of the reason why Wealthy Affiliate is my #1 recommendation.
But it's not the most important part. You can get decent training in a lot of places. What sets Wealthy Affiliate apart is the community here.
You see, when you go along this "weird" path, people in the outside world aren't going to understand.
They think everything is a scam, and they'll want to protect you from that.
There are many scams out there. This isn't one.
But that won't stop people from trying to convince you otherwise. And that's why it's important to have a group of people on your side.
The naysayers will be strong, but we are stronger.
My advice to you is to connect with the community as much as you can. Ask questions. Get help. And just chat with other like-minded people.
We've got your back.

Hi Christina, thanks for your comments and sharing a bit of your life! There's one think I disagree with : the world doesn't need more gray wall cubicles! ... Mine right now is small, prevents communication and blocks my vision. I'm working on getting changing that environment. I feel I will learn great stuff from you.
Cheers!

Awesome bio, Christina! Thank you for sharing!
Happy meeting you here at WA!
Already got your support before we connected with each other. :-)
A dear friend of mine, Pernilla, gave me the hint with your blog!
Thank you again for that!
I wish you all the best on your journey!
Sending you love and light.
Will see you around.
I'm there for you too.
Aloha, Jenna

Thank you for the follow Christina.
I bookmarked you, after reading the elephant in the room, took a look at your posts and decided to go back to the beginning and read them all.
I'm trying to struggle my way through this with no tech knowledge what so ever, sometimes overwhelming.

Hello Christina,
I had to re-read your bio again. I also follow those same people that you do. Have you ever seen the "Secret?" I also like to listen to a guy named "Jake Ducey." Bob Proctor swears by him. Just wanted to ask a few questions.
Take care,
Danny

Hey Danny!
I've seen a couple of Jake Ducey videos. He's OK, but I didn't 100% love him. I'll have to go check him out again sometime.
The Secret is what opened my eyes up to this world. I had been "manifesting" since I was 7, I just didn't know that it was called something! lol
It's cool that we can do it deliberately, which is what The Secret (and the path it led me down) taught me.

Yes, Christina, I was raised in a negative household and due to the problems my mom and dad had between each other, all I ever heard was negative words of affirmation. I was the middle son of three boys and I was treated like throw away garbage by my mother because she said I was, "just like my daddy." Anyway, as soon as I graduated from high school cause I couldn't take the mental and physical abuse any more from my mother. But anyway rolling forward to the future, I started listening to Bob Proctor and others and I believe that same as you. (If you want to, read my bio). I've been through a lot of adversity and still I come through with a positive outlook on life. Sorry to bore you but take care and I know you will finally escape the grind of a cubicle and a 9 - 5 job that you hate. I am pulling for you.

Hey Danny, I'm going to check out your bio. I definitely went through diversity too as a kid. Thankfully, I can see how it led me right where I am today (which is a good thing for the most part!).
I hope it's the same for you, too. Life is full of ups and downs. They're all just experiences.
One of the things I did last year was visualize myself working from home, doing this full time. And my husband said he would fully support it for at least a year.
So, that's what I'm doing. I'm working from home, living out my dream! :)
Thoughts become things.

Hi David! I really love your quote that you added. I always think that problems are just solutions waiting to happen. :)
I love petting dogs and horses too! I just happen to have cats, so they're easier for me to pet. :)
Thanks for stopping by my profile. You seem like a fun person!
