On Day 12 of 12 Days of Abundant Thinking, we explore how we can become a money master. Learning how to make money serve them instead of them serving money is one of the greatest distinctions between the rich and the non-rich.

Try out these truths:

1)Money is my servant.I am its master.

2)I control money.Money does not control me.

If you find yourself consistently spending more money than you take in, you will rely on credit cards and installment loans to make up the difference. If that is your reality, it follows that you have not learned the secret to money mastery.

Further, while you may learn how to build a website and how to establish affiliate links you may not have learned how to produce, price and promote the unique products that customers in your niche would love to purchase. Lack of specific knowledge and mastery of online marketing impedes our income aspirations.

While much has been written on the subject of money mastery, most deal with this subject from an outside perspective; e.g. spend less, save more, invest in stocks, bonds, mutual funds and real estate, get out of debt, and so on. All of that advice is worthwhile but the blunt reality is most people don’t have a clue that money is both spiritual and material.

Before we can develop the discipline to master the material aspect of money and become good stewards of our wealth, we have to master the spiritual aspect of money. Here is an example:

If you think “making money is hard”, in other words you are working hard to “get money” you will find yourself in a paradox—the thing you seek will allude you. On the other hand, if you think that money is simply a tool to be used to improve your life and the lives of others, money will come more easily to you.

The Secret

Some have termed the message of God’s abundant grace and favor concerning money, “The Secret Law of Attraction”. Whichever belief system you embrace, the bottom line is still the same—the more you stress about money, the harder it will be to acquire and accumulate. The more logical, relaxed and joyful you are when it comes to money, the easier it will be for you to release the inner genius you were born with to create abundant wealth.

Your inner genius has one purpose—to guide you into wealth and abundance so you can enjoy life and impact others in positive ways. That is in essence the power to create wealth that God gives to everyone who asks.

When you learn the basic financial principles required to become the master of your money, you will find it easier to save, invest and accumulate wealth.

While money is important, “making a lot of money” must never be our goal. It is more important to discover our life purpose and follow it with passion than it is to make a lot of money.

People who become wealthy are most often those who have first uncovered their life purpose and then turned that purpose into a successful business enterprise. When purpose is your first priority, making money becomes easy.Your gift for creating wealth will guide you into the ultimate financial freedom you seek.

To experience financial freedom, you may need to jump out of your comfort zone, set aside your ego and kill a few sacred cows that are poisoning your belief system. In my case, the day I stopped groaning about what I had lost in a financially devastating divorce and started growing spiritually and emotionally was the day my life changed and my financial state began to improve.

The key to financial abundance is to become a master of money. We become money masters by mastering our beliefs about money and our emotions concerning money. Once we’ve done that it will be easier to develop a discipline when it comes to spending less than we earn so we can save, invest and have an abundance to give to causes that touch our hearts.

DAY 12 ABUNDANCE AFFIRMATIONS:

(Be sure to say your affirmations out loud.)

I am learning to face my limiting beliefs and move them out of my way because I know what I think becomes my reality.

I am well on my way to the abundant outcomes I desire.

I allow my creative I Am dimension to guide me into the wealth I was destined to create.

I am well on my way to the fulfillment of my purpose and calling in life.

I am well on my way to seeing my vision of abundance manifested.

I am well on my way to the success I see myself enjoying.

I am well on my way to the financial abundance I see myself giving to others.

I am well on my way to becoming the master of the money entrusted to me.

I live below my means in order to have money to save and money to give to those in need.

There is no end to the blessings of abundance.Abundance is unlimited. While I have reached the end of my 12 Day commitment to you, your journey has just begun. Truly, God wants you to enjoy life and enjoy it more abundantly.

I pray you enjoy the beauty, strength and courage that Father God brings to you this day! It has been my pleasure to bless you from the abundance of the love in my heart to help you liberate abundance in your life.
