If I build a new website on a domain that I own will it be a new website with a unique URL or will I have to register a new domain?
Can I create a unique url on a domain I own?
If I build a new website on a domain that I own will it be a new website with a unique URL or will I have to register a new domain?
I'm a little confused with your question...
So you have a domain, and you already have a website setup on that domain, correct?
And you are wondering if you setup a new website in another folder, if it will be treated separately? The answer is no it won't (not unless you use a subdomain), but even still you should use a proper domain for each separate website you create.
Or do you mean you wish to delete the current website on your domain & start a new one using that same domain? You can do that, yes :)
Thanks for the fast response Dale! Based on your response sounds like I need to register a new domain for the new website.
Happy New Year!

OAuth 1.0 has been superseded by OAth 2.0. All in One SEO uses OAuth 1.0 and as a result I can no longer see my visitor data on Google Analytics. What can I do?
Do you need to do any updates? Like is your SEO update? Your wordpress? I've installed several updates in the last few days... It's an authorization protocol, but I can't find any real info about it. Contacting SEO with the problem if all of your plugins, themes and wordpress itself is up to date would be my reccommendation.
Thanks for your response! Everything is updated. I was thinking about contacting All in One SEO but I thought everyone who has All in One SEO might be experiencing the same problem and as such All in One SEO would be aware of the problem and is in the process of becoming compliant with the new protocol. I could deactivate All in One SEO and install the Google Analytics tracking code myself but I don't know if I'd be throwing out the baby with the bath water or if by doing so I might introduce some other conflicts.
All I can tell you is all in one SEO is working for me so you indeed might be throwing baby out with the bathwater... maybe uninstall and reinstall? Other than that I get the feeling somewhere a security or authentication setting may be messed up and that would involve your hosting provider most likely. But WP has been wacky for a bit, my post today shows my frustration with it, I tried 5 times to write a post and couldn't get it to display right. I wish you luck with this.

I'm no longer getting email notifications when people leave comments on my website. Can someone help me?
If you are WA hosted I would recheck your email settings on the redirect. I haven't had any problems, however I use gmail. ^_~
I wasn't getting them for a while, and now all of a sudden they are coming up, and I haven't changed any settings
Google is trying to look out for us by sending things that look like spam to our spam folders. I guess the intent is good but that's the problem with "robots"...and this is why I will never trust a Google car to drive me anywhere.
same here...i did not change anything but things were sent to spam...oh well, things are OK now :)
hi belle, when you whitelist an email you are labeling it as safe so it will go to your inbox and not your spam folder
I would check your spam. For some reason Gmail moved a lot of my mail to spam including comments from my WP site.
You are brilliant! I've been searching the internet for days and could not get an answer. This proves that WA is the greatest community on the planet!
But you were brilliant enough to check your spam folder whereas all of the experts in the forums were not :)

Thanks everyone. I should have made it clear that I already excluded the pages from navigation and checked all the boxes. What I was wondering is if I or someone shares a hidden page would it no longer be "hidden"? According to @arick and @dhlpilot it shouldn't matter.
I believe that if you share it, it would no longer be hidden from Google. However, I do not know this for sure. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks Rich! That's what I was thinking. Google is like those sentinels in the Matrix (hopefully they are not listening). :)
There is a plugin that automatically does your first two questions. I have a couple of pages hidden as I do PPC. Here is the plugin: Exclude Pages from Navigation
When you add this plugin you will see a exclude box on left hand column of your admin page, make sure you take out the check mark.
In addition check off all 4 boxes below where you enter your text, they are as follows:
NOINDEX
NOFOLLOW
NOODP
NOYDIR
by doing this your page will not even show up in the navigation bar.
Rich.
no index & no follow
... make sure they are checked - that option will be towards the botton of your page/post

I keep getting spam comments on my WA review page from the same spammer. My anti spam plugin catches them and I delete them but it would be nice if I could just block this part
I have SI Captcha Anti-Spam and Akismet plugins. Will it be overkill if I add GASP? Not that I have loads of spam comments in spam folder, but I would rather not deal with any if possible. Some good comments still manage to find their way into the spam folder.

I know...I've had legit comments get marked as spam...I hate when that happens! doesn't happen a lot but still...it hurts when I know someone took the time to comment and I can't reply :(
Looks like 3 or 4 of the same spams over and over in my spam box coming in every day. Don't think you can block spam coming into the spam box. anyway i don't know how to block them. Is really a pain as someone might get directed to the spam box and they are not spam
Thanks Stacy! zero spam! great plugin! thanks so much! another WA member comes to the rescue!
Just push the button SPAM at the person's comment and AKISMET plugin from wordpress will block it.
Thanks cybridge but the only button for spam that I see is "delete permanently" and the new spam comes back from the same spammer.
Just to clarify, when I get a legit comment AKISMET gives me the button to mark it as SPAM (which so far I have never done).
