Hello all! :) My name is Wendy and I guess here is where I'm supposed to share my story....

After high school I did what any other kid who wants to better themselves would do, I went to college. I went even though I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life.. I was brainwashed into the mentality that there were NO other acceptable options. I just assumed I'd figure it out along the way like many others do.

Long story short, 5 years later I ended up with a bachelor's degree and still had no idea where my life was going. After graduating I worked jobs here and there, but nothing I really wanted to be doing for the rest of my life.

I was really depressed and didn't know what I was going to do. One day I woke up and decided I needed to do something, anything... So I started searching how to make money online. I remember reading a review for an online program that seemed so much different than all the rest. It seemed...real. I decided to give it a chance.

That program? It was Wealthy Affiliate.

Now here I am, a year and a half later and I am doing what everyone dreams of doing. I'm making consistent income online. I learned it actually IS possible to do this.

I can honestly say WA is the one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I am forever thankful for Kyle and Carson, and everyone here that makes this place so awesome. I couldn't have done it without all your help, and I am here trying to give back to the community to the best of my ability.

Hey, I have left several messages for you, Kyle & Carson-no one is giving me any help. If you want me to get a paid membership?? Rt. now I am very unimpressed. It seems lesson plan I am following is very out of date. I am wasting time. It seem I am missing all in one SEO plugin on my website. How can I deal with this???????

I'm sorry, Allie I believe I have responded to your PMs. The lesson plans are kept as up to date as possible, but things change so rapidly there are always going to be little things here and there that may be different but for the most part it is current. If you don't have the all in one SEO plugin, you can go to your plugins and click the "add new" button, from there you can type in a search for all in one SEO and install it on your site.

I have read WendyJane's rebuttal of complaints aimed at Wealthy Affiliates and her essay about WealthyAffiliates (WA). I found both essays to be well written, thoughtful, and encouraging. WendyJane did not mention what her type of bachelor's degree, but she writes clearly, without excess hyperbole, and with a flourish that makes her style entertaining. I have read a number of articles about how to make money on the internet. Most sounded like pie in the sky BS. I discovered Wealthy Affiliates as I was debunking an Amazon Affiliate scam phone call I received. I look forward to getting started with WA and seeing how it goes. I plan to keep a journal of my WA adventure. After my first 90 days I will publish a synopsis of my Journal.

Hi Wendy.

Yesterday I finished all Level 1 lessons and before I even think to go Premium, I´d like to know a few things first. So if you have the chance, please enlighten me on:
1) How Google Adsense really works?
2) How can I advertise products of relevant companies in my website?
3) Can I create an Amazon Review Site?
4) How can I promote products from my website?

Thanks in advance for your attention and time.

Wendy,

You invited me to contact you if I needed help in the future. I need some help, now. I'm not sure if you can help me, but I'm contacting some of the most experienced WA members to maybe get connected to someone who can check my thinking on a problem I have.

There are many details and nuances to the story of how I came to be in this jam, but I'll try to cut to the chase.

I got involved with a program that's doing business as JobKilling.org. With what I see now as a deluded set of expectations, I ended up signing a promissory note for $399/mo, which is killing ME instead, financially. I'm ashamed of the decision I made. I'm about to send them an email saying that I want to end the arrangement, but I just need someone to give me advice, warnings, ideas about what's right to do in this case, hopefully before I have to send that email. I feel like I could make a case for being scammed, but really it boils down to the legal issue of me having signed a promissory note with attending ramifications. Perhaps someone could advise me on how to negotiate an amicable end of the relationship.

Don't feel obligated in any way to offer advice--I'm just trying to share with others I respect and use anything I learn to handle this the right way. It may even be inappropriate to bring this up with another WA associate, but I'll value any perspective or advice.

Thanks,
James

Hi Wendy
I have 2 sites in mind; one that I will upgrade when I go premium in the next few days (my BIG idea) and one I want to keep on the free side to experiment..the one on the free side...for large runners. Being a big runner, we are different than the smaller folks who fly past us..that is my big sweaty beast site..
