I used to pay additional for Jaaxy, then I cancelled it. Since I was away for two years, it appears you now offer Jaaxy Lite as part of the Premium membership. Am I correct?

I've used the ADD Media button possibly a 100 times, though not lately. I've added a new page and now I can't get it to work. I've verified size of file, file type, tried save/

If your add media button doesn't work, this is probably a plugin or theme conflict. Go through the steps here and see if that solves the issue:

Hi Nathaniell! I went through most of your troubleshooting - Visual Editor Not Showing Up in Wordpress...and it occurs to me perhaps I have not clearly stated my problem. I work in the text editor. I added a new page. I wanted to add pictures. I have tried the ADD MEDIA button above the text on the page. I have tried the ADD MEDIA on the left main menu. I have used different computers, different browsers, emptied the cache, contacted Tech Support twice (they say "we can add stuff", and they did but what good is that to me unless they intend to manage my three websites). I have a file of screenshots but was unable to attach it since WA does not accept a .doc file.

I understood that you didn't have issues with the text editor - it's just that the troubleshooting process is the same for things like "buttons not working".

But if support can add things, then it's likely working fine, and the issue is to do with your browser.

Did you do the steps in the troubleshooting? If you haven't, do them. Uninstalling plugins and themes will solve problems like this 99% of the time. Other than that, I would suggest updating your browser or changing it, but you've already done that.

adapt and move on.. plenty of other social media buttons out there.. Google searching will provide

Who mentioned "social media buttons"?

Sorry I misread your Q.. Have you tried clearing you browser cache, another browser?

Good thoughts, I keep you posted.

Hey BeauAndNik, I have cleared my browser cache, used different browsers and different computers, nothing changed. I wrote a bit more info above for my sponsor Nathaniell. Thanks

We ask many questions and get many answers. Some answers are given by well-meaning but inexperienced newbies, just like the person asking the question. How would a newbie reall

Yes, I tend to look more towards older members or those who seem to have had previous experience. Then again some answers other newbies might know from having just been through the experience themselves! I tend to try to do a bit of due diligence to find if the answer I am getting is right - or at least, right for me!

One way to now is to weigh the info against other info. I tend to follow the advice of Ambassadors more so than others.

That's an issue on every forum, everybody answeres from its own perspective. Sometimes a bit of common sense will help, sometimes a comparison between the given answers.

I followed once completely bad advice, well then you have to adjust quite a lot of things afterwards.

The final decision to follow up advice lies always at yourself, no-one else to blame, everyone just gives advice outof their own knowlegde and experience.

With this community, I would not worry too much about the right answer. Because it is so monitored, one of the experts will come out and shut all the so-called answers down. I have seen that happen lots of time.

The good thing about it is that more people get to know what is the right answer. And they found that out by giving their opinion. Nothing is wrong with that. My thought on this.

Whatever you have to say, let's hear it. We will fix it, adjust it, elaborate on it or trash it. PEACE!

In any forum there's going to be good and bad advice, so you just kind of have to see what 'most' people are saying, or who makes the most convincing argument.

You can also do research by looking up similar questions to yours, checking how long the person answering your question has been a member, or even taking a look at their website (if they list it in their profile) to see if this is the kind of person's advice you'd follow.

I think that if you ask a question, It would be safe to use the majority rules answers. Everyone here goes through the same training at wealthy affiliate. It takes time to see who the experts are. Find you a few experts and follow them. Several people on here has been in marketing most of their lives. Good luck

This is a really good question. You don't really know who you can rely on really. You can try to do research on the person giving the advice and see if they actually know what they are talking about.

Worst cast scenario is. Ask a question. Review all the answers given. Do your own research on your question. Learn, Test, and See what you can conclude with.

I would say to look at the persons profile, how long they have been a member, what their websites, blogs, training, etc look like.

I found one in cyber-space which is free http://home.mywebface.com/faceApp/

I used an app on my tablet to convert my photo to a pencil sketch. It was a free app available for iPhone and Android tablets. The problem is that I can't remember which app it was and I tried so many that I can't find it now. :(

Is this what you have in mind? Ask Jewel about the artist. But there's many tools online with which you can do this.

WordPress also has plugins for this.
Use your favorite search engine and type these words for the search:

wordpress plugin photo to avatar

Here's a free online favicon generator that I've used from time to time:

http://www.favicongenerator.com/

There are many more available. A search for "free favicon generator" (without the quotes) returns over 270,000 results.

Nice little utility. I just made a few icons with it. So, you are looking for something more advanced? There are lot's of tools you can obtain online to accomplish this. Have you tried this one: www.mywebface.com ?

Not sure who made the offer. Can you attach a screenshot or post a link that shows an example of this photo conversion?
