Hello,
Sadly, once you go Premium, you can't downgrade to Starter. Your best bet is to cancel your membership here and start a new free account:

How do I cancel my membership?

OR how has it been valuable to you personally?
Nina,
There is no monetary value at all, but it provides a wealth of motivation which aids me personally in building a solid foundation! I also take things slower since I am not in a hurry to make money--I have other income streams. The money will eventually come--of that I am certain! Not to mention, I learn an awful lot of what to do and not to do from the people in the community, which greatly enhances all the quality training here!
I hope this helps!
Jeff
You'd be surprised what you can learn that you might not have had to the opportunity to do until you engaged in a conversation, Ross!
It isn't about the ranking, the ranking is about the interaction. The interaction is beneficial to everyone because you never know where the good stuff, for you or for someone else might come from. My ranking has plummeted recently because I've been too busy to spend time here but I am not concerned. I will jump back in when I am ready.
It's what it takes to get it! That's the crux of the matter, so if I get a better rank, it follows that I'm sticking with the plan by helping others and communicating -essentially being active.
So it's all about the work ethos.
I like this question, thought provoking indeed.
I was going to put the definition of distraction here but on the dictionary website there was the 'Word of the day' which I just had to follow the link on. The word was 'Soniferous'. It intrigued me, which was why I had to see what it meant. In case you're wondering what it means, which I'm sure you are, it means:
"conveying or producing sound."
I'm not sure if I would ever need to use the word 'soniferous' but I now have that new found knowledge, which might come in useful at some point.
The added bonus of this whole thing is that, now you know what it means, along with any one else who cares to read this comment.
Sorry, what was the question ? I got distracted, my bad.
Valuable personally, in that, It is the push to do more and be more. I have read more, learned more than I have in a while. For me, it is like a plate spinning on a pin, giving it a spin to keep it going, keeps me going. I don't want to watch that plate fall.
I've been a member for a LONG time and will continue to be a member even though I stray alot. Hey, being retired is hard work. LOL. In any case, at one time, I was #15. I know, hard to believe right?.
While I loved writing WA blogs, it was something else that took a lot of time away from my sites. The more blogs you write, the more time it took to respond and keep my rank.
Although WA is not designed to be a social media site, it's really nice to communicate with like minded people and you do meet a lot of people here. In fact, some have become very good friends and have even arranged to meet in person. They can also help keep you inspired on those bad days -- and we all have them.
Having said this, the benefit of higher rank (to me) is if you are heavily promoting WA. It's nice for your potential "enrollees", if you will, to see that you have a high rank.
I will continue to write WA blogs periodically but will NOT do so simply for rank. I guess you have to determine your own priorities and goals.

When do rankings change? Is it daily, random or a set time?
Thanks, Mtmama or Nina
It’s funny that you just responded and now my ranking changed!!
I think it is at 11am, my time in the Pacific time zone of the US. I’m in Seattle, WA!
My rank just improved (dropped) over a thousand!
How are you doing?

If I don't have my website up and running can I add my WA link to my personal Facebook page?
Facebook don't like links, since links drives people to somewhere else, facebook wants to keep you on their site, so if you're to put links, like on a page you're promoting or boosting.
But here's a trick, place your links with a space like-
http://whatever{space}.com. in some cases you can ask you friends to just close the space, some would know right away that the space has to close before entering browser.
Facebook don't pick it up as a link cause it wouldn't be a live link.
Try that
Yes you can but no I wouldn't :) The problem is that Facebook is VERY finicky and WA members have clearly abused affiliate links in the past.... it has made it hard for those promoting WA in the right way to share their affiliate links on social media. What I recommend you do is write posts on your website and include your WA link there and then share those posts on your profile :)
You can. Make sure cloak it using a generic domain you already have or simply use a cloak tool.
