Does wealthy affiliate provide a mail server for the website?
Yes, as WA members say, you can set up an email address for your site but WA has no auto-responders.
If you mean an autoresponder then no. If you mean can you create an e mail address for your website and host it here then yes

Hey John,
The short answer is, "Yes" and a more complete answer is that it has been recommended that we use the domain emails setup on WA email server to forward to a gmail address where you can easily setup your domain email to be used INSIDE a gmail account.
Here is a tutorial to show you how: How To Use Your Gmail Account For Your WA Email Addresses Hope you find this helpful.
Thank you. I have used pop mail and smtp. I use Gmail here on WA but I should probably set up a separate Gmail just for this?
The problem I have with Gmail is they can be just too damn helpful sometimes with all synchronizing etc. Not to mention Google already knows more about you than you do yourself.
I uninstalled Thunderbird as much as I did like using it because it got apoplectic about interfacing with Yahoo mail. I think it was Yahoo's fault but I got sick of the hassle and just went to Yahoo online. (Which is what Yahoo wanted I presume)
I hear ya' John and I second that.
Soooo.. here's another suggestion... give this tutorial a try: Conclusion OR... if you prefer Thunderbird... this one: Domain Specific WA Site Email Using Thunderbird free Marion usually keeps her training up to date, so hopefully this is still relevant.
