If I edit the category of my posts, do I need to request indexing again at Google Search Console?
Hi Marita,
You don't have to, but as Laura said, it doesn't hurt.
I resubmit all my changes and updates!
Cheers,
Suzanne
Hello. Long time no see. I always say to be safe when I change anything I re submit. But you can also update your sitemap and submit it to google webmaster.
Laura
Hi Laura,
I actually read in one of your comments that it's best to put a post in only 1 category so Google will not be confused , so I plan to go back to my posts and edit their categories and assign only 1 for each post. That's why this question.
I know it'll be a lot of work but that's how it works.
Thanks,
Marita

Hi Marita, if I change anything in a post or update it I make it a habit to submit it for re-indexing both in google and bing.
Best wishes,
Michael

Do we always need to promote our pins at Pinterest and spend some money?
I don't but it like any of the social media platforms, you need to be constantly working it and it is a lot quicker to get your stuff out there if you pay to promote it - You just need to make sure that the ROI will be worth it.
I haven't been involved with Pinterest for over a year but when I was I never had to spend a penny to promote my pins on Pinterest.

Why are the images in the post that I just published shrunk and cannot be viewed?
I inserted these in site content.
Please help!
Hey Marita,
Perhaps the thumbnail option was selected by default and you did not notice. Check to make sure the size of image you want to use is selected and then click the "Insert into post" button.
See screen print below...
Hope you find this helpful.
Yes, I made it smaller at site content, but when I published the blog, it was not showing, except for a colored line or something.
Anyway, I just deleted it and put another image and it worked.
Thanks,
Marita

My Amazon associate application has been denied. Do i just leave the links in my posts so I can use them again when approved sometime. Theyre still working, although I know tha
I have left mine on my site though I didn’t get enough sales so my associate status has lapsed. It is not a major affiliate company for me currently.
I think I joined too early but they are not showing as broken links so have left them for now.

I personally would remove them.
There's no guarantee you will be approved in the next few weeks or months.
Try another company, perhaps eBay or PayDotCom, CJ, AliBaba, AliExpress.
There are countless companies you can become an affiliate to.
Robert
Always best to not limit your options.
Actually PayDotCom is pretty good, at least it was when I worked with them.
I wish you well.
Robert
Lots of companies out there for you to work with Marita.
Depending on your niche you simply type in your browser
your niche/affiliate program and you will get a choice.
Robert
Hey Marita,
Should you decide to remove them, here's a video to show you how to do that: Removing Amazon Affiliate Links
Thanks!
But leaving them on is okey, too? Lots of work and lots of images are from Amazon, so I have to replace them from another affiliate site.
Marita
I know, I just don't want to waste lots of time to remove and replace them with other affiliates which I don't think I can easily find.
Thanks,
Marita
You can leave them yes. Just make sure that when you are approved your site ID is the same as your links have or you'll need to update them.
Thanks, it;s a lot of work , so I'm thinking to just leave them for now. Will I not be penalized by Amazon?
No, they just won't give you any money..They're not going to slap your hand for sending them free business (unless your site badmouths them or something).
