If I upgrade to premium plus do I still pay the premium amount? Is it $49 + $99 or $99?

You only get the first month for $49

Thank you.

Laura

I thought you got the first month free

Nothing free, only our commitment to each other moving forward.

First month will be $49 then $99 following months.

If you have any cash amount, it will be prorated so it will tell you how many days are free then $99 a month.

If you are paying yearly like we did, it will prorate amount left from $795 intro offer and the following year will be $795.

Thank you. Good news.

Laura

Just $99 a month Laura.

The first month is discounted to $49 (in the same way as normal premium is $19 for new starters for the first month), and then it will be $99 a month thereafter.

Partha

Good to see you Partha and thank you.

Laura

Have you watched Kyle's video on it yet?

Yes I did.

Laura

Hi Laura, how are you?
What would you like clarification with regarding premium plus?

As stated above. “If I upgrade to premium plus do I still pay the premium amount? Is it $49 + $99 or $99?”

Thank you.

I have a contact page on my MMO site. I am getting continuous messages from scams that I have written about. As soon as I delete one another is sent.
How can I stop this?

Ditto to Jeff's response, Laura.

Some good answers here, Laura! I hope you get it sorted out!

Jeff

Laura, I get them all the time. Thanks to Trish’s video. I am hoping it works. I just delete the messages. They are so annoying. I know I need to watch the video again and follow the instructions. And look at other options as well.

Hey Laura,

Having suffered the same issue on my MMO website, here's what I decided to do: which gave me the bonus of removing a plugin that I no longer needed.

Hope you find this helpful.

Awesome. This is perfect. Thank you bunches.

Laura

I found this it might help

Dorrie, Thank you but is it the same for a contact page as it is for a comment?

Thank you Dorrie. I looked at it and didn’t see. I too will look again.

Again thank you

I received a PM asking for my help. That is all fine because I do love to help people. BUT, they sent me their website URL. The content was inconsistent so I checked it out for

Hello, Laura. I ran into this when trying to make comments in our site comment section. The same man had requested comments on numerous of his sites and when I noticed that he was including duplicate content on the first two of his sites, I started skipping over several of his, which affected my ranking. I think it's called cherry picking. Didn't realize until it was too late that it would affect me this way. Anyway, I didn't feel like I was supposed to give negative critique when commenting, so it sort of discourages me from participating in giving site comments.
BTW, I appreciate your question, and I am following you.

Thanks for the follow back. I do hope the person who asked me for help did not realize it was duplicate content but I do highly doubt that. I asked the person some specific questions about their niche and they did not know the answers. So I doubt they did any research.

Laura

I think the best thing to be done is to notify them that if they are going to copy content that they should be sure to make a note of the fact on their WA content site that it has been copied from such and such place. I am writing a post currently that I will use on one of my WA sites where I copied content. I made a note of that fact just below the copied content stating where I copied that content from in parentheses, Copied from) plus the copied content is in a different font.

Yes I agree but to copy content and paste it to your entire site is a problem.

Laura

I absolutely agree Laura if that is the only content, in my site, I am using it to emphasize my other personally written content. If they just copied content and that is the only content then all I can say is they are hammerheads and truly need begin their lessons from the very beginning once again, they insult WA, you, I, and all the other hard-working members.

Joe

They purchased plr and didn't change anything. You might suggest that if they want to use plr that they make the wording their own.

Thanks. Good suggestion.

Laura

Hey Laura,

Good that you reaffirmed that they should be following the training... and perhaps recommend they stick with using SiteContent as that tool WILL show them when they are using duplicate content.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi Trish - I have to say that the duplicate content checker in Site Content doesn't work as well as it should.

I offer feedback on a regular basis and often discover duplicate content, and yet the member states they have used Site Content.

I have also experimented with deliberately putting copied content on my practice site and it hasn't been picked up.

Plus, even if it does find it, if you click publish a second time, it allows it through. It doesn't stop the content being published, it just notifies you.

Thanks for your reply. It looks like I have done what I need to do in this situation.

Laura

Hey Diane, The content was copied and pasted from posts already published on the website. So even if they are using site content they had to have copied it and put it into there so they know it is plagiarism. Or at least they know now.

But that is not a good thing that site content is not picking up duplicate content.

I found it by checking it on google.

Thanks for your help.

Laura

Hey Diane,

Have you reached out to Carson in a PM to let him know of what you have experienced?

Personally, I have not used SiteContent as I have been writing my own content for several years and am well aware of the need for unique content.

SiteContent was working properly initially. Am betting some of the many ongoing updates that have been taking place with the WA membership site has caused the issue you described.

Hi - I mentioned it to Kyle when he was asking for suggestions on how to improve Site Content earlier this year, so hopefully, it has been taken on board.

Good stuff Diane!

If they wanted general help with their site, you gave them the best advice. A site with that much duplicate content is not going to rank well and produce results.

Other than that, they would need to give you specific questions to be able to help further. It's good that they're reaching out for advice, and I want to thank you for being a member that helps others!

I have issues with the new update of Generatepress. I have to uninstall it and reinstall it. Which theme should I use while I am doing this? I have never needed to do this and

I'm glad that you got it sorted, Laura! Enjoy your weekend!

Jeff

Update.......WHOOO HOOOO! All reinstalled and reverted back to the previous version. Oh so happy and thank you all for your help.

Laura

It doesn't matter, you can pick any theme you like. Be aware that you may lose your themes settings when uninstalling/reinstalling.

Thank you. I will check my settings when I reinstall.

Laura

Hi there not the most techy person in the world but I have just moved a site from the twenty twenty theme to generate press and that was seemless so that maybe an option. Presuming it works the other way as well. Best to take a back up though or you could ask support to set up a dummy site while you do it? What are the issues out of interest? Might be worth checking with support to be sure though.

Thank you. I updated generatepress yesterday to the 1.11 alpha 2. i have critical issues on google console and they are a theme issue. generatepress say to revert back to 1.10 while they fix the issue.

Laura

Hey Laura,

I do hope you have moved a COPY of that site to a SiteRubx server in order to do this. If you are not sure as to how to do this, please contact SiteSupport and ask them to please create a cloned site for you.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
This way, if you make a major mistake, you've lost NOTHING.

The theme I would use for this would be a simple theme like Twenty Twenty... see screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

OK thank you. I just made a full backup of my site and saved to desktop. all 1014 MB of it. Do I still need to clone it?

I did contact site support just now. Thank you
