Sad news
Received a message from Paul Goodwin, our long term resident from the woods of Northern Europe. His beloved dog Goggy that we all know from his messages has passed away.
He is doing well and his Perkune Audio Cable business is thriving. Some people that we know come and go, but thair lives and endeavors go on as we all do!

Hi MikeGoggy have been sick for the past three days woth heat stroke as it has been 35 deg C all the toime and 25 for a few hours at night A few hours ago Goggy passed away and he went peacefully. I was next to him and just an hour earlier he looked at me ane gave me his paw as if to say good bye as he knew he was going.it was so emotional for me as he was really sayimg good bye. such a wonderful dog who is already missed by so many peoplePlease can you tell everyone in WA for me because he was loved by many of the group and I think it would be nice to let them know and maybe just copy this letter

Dogs are susceptible to heat and it can really hurt them. This is a big problem in Phoenix, where we lived for many years before Ecuador. Very distressing for Paul.
May Goggy's little dog soul fly free and happy till they meet again.
Thanks for the update, Michael! I was thinking about Paul the other day and wondered how he has been. Sorry to hear about the passing of his little four-legged family member. They are such great companions! That is so precious that Goggy gave him his paw to say good-bye.
I hope Paul will be able to keep in touch and stay connected here while he's handling his other responsibilities. He is missed around here. :)

"A dog is Man's (and Women's) Best Friend". They give their love unconditionally and always remain loyal to the ones they love. Their passing can be every bit as sad as the passing of a loved one, for the individual who has experienced their love and devotion. They will always be missed.

That is truly sad but at the same time bittersweet. Goggy was absolutely a star for sure. He will be missed. So, sad. My heart is sad for Paul, lol.

You have me balling my eyes out...that poor guy...especially the paw part and why did he get heat stroke...why was in the heat like that.. My dog is everything to me and I can't EVEN deal with thinking when he is going to pass...he is a miniature chiguagua and he is 20 years old...he is a fluke because he doesn't even have cataracts yet...no one can believe because he runs and plays...i just want him to pass a home in his sleep but that is going to be a dark time in my life...so when i read this...it tore my heart out for that poor man whether he is taking it well or not...it must of hurt so bad...im sorry for going on and on..it just really hit home...
