Keyword, Niche and Market Research

Picking a niche for your website.

Roger, I am not totally sure that mine is a niche, but I am passtionate about writing, so after several false starts, I developed a website to promote the books that I write, my friend!

Jeff

Hey Roger,

The following tutorial may provide you with the help you seek: Hope you find this helpful.

He is one of the BEST! I am having trouble locating his training in The CLASSROOM.

You can go to Rob's profile and click on the Training link... see screen print below...

I too have found the WA search is not as good as it once was, and sadly, MANY tutorials appear to be missing now.

Thanks for the reply. I am so happy to learn that I just have to be ON the boomergp08 profile page and click training to find all 82
of his training. I've got to realize that us 80-year-olds have different learning processes and habits than those who were raised with computers or at least had one before they were 40.
Thanks so much. Your one reply has saved me hours and hours of frustration.
I will be viewing boomergp08 training videos, rather than searching for them and also asking more questions.

Just read Rob's training on Backlinks and realized I was totally out-of-date. I am going to be referring to his training very often in the future.

You're very welcome Roger. Glad this helped you.

:-) ... only use backlinks when it is appropriate. That way, you're safe.

A very important consideration which hasn't been mentioned but is probably the most important aspect...

Is there enough value there for you to make a living from?

You will hear that any niche you can make money from and that may be right but do you want to get by or make a living?

Cheers
Mick

I think of something I am passionate and genuinely interested in, I know lots about and can create succinct original content addressing issue in relation.

For example workout exercises for beginners.

A niche subject is something you are passionate and genuinely interested in could be a hobby or an interest, and know so well you can write plenty original content about.

ONE niche, a website. Products and programs can be varied however all must be relevant to the niche.

When deciding on a niche try narrow it down to a more specific niche, you can ask yourself the following question:

So I want to help people with ____________________ ?

Fill in the blank and you are going to get closer to a specific audience.

Find something you are passionate about and can write lots of articles about. Once you have a niche you can then break it down further so this gives you the option to write more.
Good luck

Thanks for the reply. Lots of good advice. Now to implement it all.

You’re very welcome . All the best going forward on your journey and thank you for following,

I did the same as Frank. I chose scuba diving because I think about it when I wake up, during the day, at night... this is my passion. 🤿

Monica🎉

Great for you! I could use that skill as I am leaving on a Caribbean Cruise next week.

Hey Roger,

Thanks!

Where is your Caribbean cruise taking you? I have an oceanview house in Grand Turk.

Monica

Barbadoes - Grenada - Bonaire - Curaco - Colon, Panama - Puerto Limon. Costa Ria - Aruba - Trinidad - Barbadoes.

I have been to Turks and Caicos where there are lots of Canadian lawyers setting up Trust Accounts.

Oh, I didn't know that. The Canadian lawyers must be on the big island, Providenciales. There's a lot of money floating there.

Enjoy your Caribbean cruise vacation. I've never done a cruise trip, will do it one day, for sure.

Monica

Hi, Roger

For me the choice was easy because I’m passionate about guitars. 😎

Does it matter? Should content and titile be the main concern? What are other factors?

As others have stated, it doesn't matter the time that you post on WA platform :). It is still best to post on your website

But if you're asking about how you can get others to interact more with your WA blog, then it is a two way fold.

You interact more with other members' blogs and that means more time spent in the community.

Which as stated by others, is better time spent on creating posts for your website

Thanks for the quick reply. Will do.

You're always welcome ;)

Focus on your website not WA

Thats what I am going to do. Thanks.

There isn't and not applicable. WA blog posts are for the community here at WA.

Thanks. Just have to get a few replies to blogs on my websites. It's motivating to blog where I am sure to get feedback. Going through the training for the 3rd time and need to stay more focused.

Awesomeness' and kindly keep us updated on your progress.

If you’re asking about posting to your WA blog, it doesn’t matter at all. Posts here are mainly for the community and don’t affect your business at all most of the time.

Great. I now have a better idea what to do. Seems like I am focusing more on WA because I like the quick replies, the trust level, and the fact that are so helpful without asking immediately for something in return.

That’s what community is all about:)
