Starting over and have a couple of questions ?

Hey Mike, great to have you back at WA!
1 - Yes, the training is absolutely up to date. Follow the CORE training that is found within your HUB, this is going to get you up and running with the core of your website, but also explain our new AI tools and get you into a great routine for creating content.
2 - No, moving your website from WA to another host (if you ever chose to do so), is simple. You download a backup plugin, you take that backup over to the new host, and you use the same plugin to import it. And ALL hosts that you are moving to should help you with this as well :)
Let us know how you do as you start building the site!

I’ve built a couple of websites and then abandoned them over the last 3 years here at WA.
I sold one domain and just ditched the other.

How important is the income from your site? If you have a love and passion that can also be lucrative, go for it.
If you are sure there's an audience for your 30-year career's worth of knowledge, plus affiliate programs to match, then that may be the first choice.
Either way, make sure it is something you love because you know how much time you'll be spending with it as you grow it into something.
Hey Mike,
You have great responses here.
I have 2 sites and it's been a real challenge. I'm working on getting back to just 1 site for now. Once I have good traffic and earning monthly income to my expectations, then I'll hire a writer,
Then, I'll go to my 2nd site and do the same.
To me, working on 2 sites has been a nightmare. You can always build that 2nd site later.
I like the question that Abie presented.
Which niche do you enjoy talking about the most to your friends, families, and strangers? In other words, you can't stop talking about it. You wake up in the morning thinking about it, and during the day the same thing ...
Also, will you have enough products to promote?
My thoughts...
Monica
My advice would be to build both and see how you go. Then sell the one you're less interested in.
I tried a locksmith site, but even though I have been a locksmith for 31 years, it was simply not my passion! My passion is writing books! I hope you get it figured out, Mike!
Jeff
You would't know unless you try!
I created my website based on the thing I have been doing for a really long time. And it's NOT a struggle because you post what you know and have been dealing with the entire time.
A website created from something you LOVE and based on your 30 year career sounds like a really good decision!!!
Cheers,
Maria

I've been away for a couple of years and now returning.
I built 3 websites and it was taxing as heck! I have deleted 2 of the sites .
The 3rd website is nowebexperi
sorry for the pain, sometimes if someone is not passionate about the niche, won t be engaged to work on the site. failing is not bad. you will come.back stronger.... making mistakes is the beggining of success
I recall you had a site involving hunting. I guess that one didn't produce for you? If that's the case I am sorry to hear it.
Joe
Quite a lot of content on there.
Must be worth something but not being active for a while will negatively affect it.
Best of luck selling it
You may list it on Flippa.
However, I see it is specific MMO niche site, I would consider reviving it.
I don't know if you are aware however there's no content on the separate posts, just titles.
