I’ve been here at W.A . For a few years now. I built a couple of websites based on money instead of passion.
After struggling through 300 posts on one site and over 120 on the other I’ve shut them down , and refocused my energy!
Domain name bought and making a comprehensive list of content ideas. I’m already at 177 post ideas and counting.
My kickoff for the new website is January 1st!
still have a lot to do before then !
Logo being made, some graphics, buttons etc. Already working on copy for the posts so that I’m way ahead before I start!
looking forward to getting back in the swing after being AWOL for a year!
Moral of this story? Don’t just concentrate on a niche or subject that you feel will make the most money . You’ll burn out after a while, get writers block , and end up with a bunch of wasted time!
Instead niche down! Do and talk about something you love! Then after your site is indexed plan how to start monetizing slowly and build on it!

I understand what you mean, when I was here the first time I too made mistakes and now I changed my niche and I am still going through my training but I have a lot to do so I really haven't had the chance to do any content for my site.
I am going to do my best and try to get to it this weekend. I have to start sometime to get this business off the ground.
