More often than not, I believe, we look outside ourselves for so many things.
Validation, Self Worth, Love, Recognition...etc. The list just goes on and on.
The Hero you have been looking for perhaps all of you Life is:
YOU!Whether you realize it or not it's true.
Everything we need is inside of us.
How can we expect others to love us if we don't already love ourselves fully first?
You are also very UNIQUE. There is, nor will there ever be, anyone like you.
You are not broken, you are simply a Work in Progress.
Its time to drop the pessimism and the negativity and embrace yourself for who you really are and unleash your full potential NOW.

Thanks for the positive message. I do not agree full-heartedly because I do believe we need others to truly round us out, but you are right in that our self-worth and things like that must come from within. No one can make us like or love ourselves except us.

Yes, unfortunately most of us carry childhood wounds with us all of our lives. In most cases we don't even realize how they are affecting us. They have been with us forever so it just feels "normal." Unfortunately these wounds often stand in the way of success and will have to be dealt with in order to get where we want to go. I'm working hard on these myself and am just polishing up my first blog post to publish on my profile along these lines. Be watching for it! =) Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed yours =)

@ MelWaller And don't you know that I have boxes full of old letters and memorabilia I hold on to thinking that "some day" I'll write a book! =) Maybe here I will learn to write well enough that I may actually attempt it =)
I can understand Catherine. I have many books inside me and I have been slow to put them into writing.
Even just doing WA blog posts is a great way to get in the rhythm of writing.
