Well, when I have writers' block, it's mainly because, I have no idea what I was going to write about that day, the next day or the day after that.
So, I have learned to do a lot of research, especially while on Pinterest or YouTube. I read peoples comments and so on.
I also write down any thoughts that I have at that moment. So, it's like carrying a notebook with you everywhere you go, and although this may be extreme, I find that it helps a lot.

I do research. I go to places like Pinterest or Youtube to find articles comparable to one I'm considering writing. I might go to Jaaxy and brainstorm on topics.
I watch videos, listen to podcasts, or listen to audiobooks. I see what's already out there in the marketplace on the topic I'm considering writing about (and doing well).
I look at Amazon and the topic-related books that are out. I read comments and reviews to see what customers may have liked or disliked about the content that's already out, and I create my own version and try to make it better than what's out.
I do that everytime I have writer's block. Maybe not the entire regimen, but as much until I have the inspiration to begin writing my own.

I have aways found writing insperation by going to my local starbucks that's located inside a Chapters books store, and I head to the magazine section. Best boost for writers block for sure. Lot's of content ideas.
Have you tried 'Mind-mapping' on paper....just start with a word maybe loosely connected to your niche and just keep adding other words associated with each other...they'll all be connected and maybe one or another will give you a fresh direction to take...thinking laterally or 'outside of the box' is sometimes what it takes to get inspired....I did an exercise the other day and just picked the first word that popped into my head and tried to think of as many possible 'posts' I could write...it was a bit of giggle, which probably looked odd as I was on my own. You'd be surprised how much you could write about 'traffic lights'...Ok, so it was two words...but you get my point. The other word was 'butter' that turned out to be huge.
Failing that...turn it all off, pack it all away and go and do something different for a while, without feeling guilty about it. Just take a sabbatical.
You'll get 'it' back, for sure.
Thanks for the suggestions! I have a hard time doing something else without feeling guilty but I think that might be just what I need for a bit.
Hey Mariah, What I have started doing which helps me a lot is when I am talking to someone about whatever my niche is about. I listen closely to what people say and if they ask me any kinds of questions about my topic it gives me ideas of things to write about and answer those questions with a post.
I hope this is helpful.
I like to do some free writing. Set a timer for 5 minutes, then take your pen and paper and just start writing about anything. You can do it on the computer, but I've found it's more effective for me with an actual pen and paper. You can also ask yourself some questions and then free write your answers.

I got an email from google search console saying there are mobile usability issues for my site. It says my text is too small to read. I pulled it up on my phone and it looks pl
I have a decent sized phone (Samsung A7) and the text does look a bit small to me. If it's not a feature you can adjust in Appearance > Customize then just add a little bit of CSS Custom CSS: Change Font Size Site-Wide
Thank you Marion, Saved me. well I did what you said. Actually did what you did and it worked. Audio is a problem I have to solve. audio is so "skippy" I cant understand. No matter, googles says they will get back to me. Your the BEST!!!
I think you may have to speak to a Solutions Engineer, as the web becomes more accessible to people using an increasing number of devices, it is vital that pages appear correctly and content be easy to read. Go to Google Webmaster Tools Mobile.
Jacqueline
I'm inclined to think your theme might not be mobile friendly. Does your theme promote itself as "fully responsive"?
Try this: https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly
And here's another testing site: https://www.dareboost.com/en/mobile-website-speed-test
I checked it out. Here's the screenshot from the test, and here's one from my phone when I search the page. I don't understand why it would be different. Do you have any idea why it would be fine on my phone?

Hey Mariah,
All the rules are clearly posted in the Amazon Associate account pages. You can even contact their affiliate tech support people to ask questions of.
However, if you prefer to skip reading their rules, you could Google "things that get my amazon associate account banned" (without the quotation marks, of course) and read some of the posts in the search results to see what else can get your affiliate account banned with Amazon.
Hope you find this helpful.
I have read them. This issue is ambiguous and I can't seem to find a straight answer. I have contacted Amazon as well and they didn't give me a straight answer either...

The links within my posts do not stand out at all. You can't even tell that they're links until you mouse over them. I tried changing the color of text from within wordpress bu
Highlight the link text and change the colour to blue, and also make the text bold that will make the link stand out even more
Dont forget to save after you have altered it
I have downloaded your theme on one of my sites and changing the colour of text wasn't a problem, I also checked out your custim colours and there is only a background colour that can be changed , so not really sure what it going on
Just as a side note and I'm sure you are but you are trying to change the colour in edit mode?
You can change it within the editor, and it shows as a different color, but when you publish it and view the post it is black.
Your right I didn;t check the published version and it does revert back to black. If you like the theme you could reach out to the author and ask them, sounds to me like an issue with the theme.
Go to your theme page and click on your theme details you will see the authir in blue at the top click on that name and it takes you to their website, scroll all the way to the bottom and there is a contact link if you want to contacy them
If you know some CSS, you could add a style command to the a href code -- comething like < a href = '"link" style="color=red; text-decoration: underline; font-weight: bold; font-size: larger;"> click here < / a >
I have added extra spaces in the above, otherwise you would not be able to see it (as your browser would execute the code)
1) You could put it in the individual post/page every time you have a link.
2) Or you could add some additional CSS code and refer to that CSS code when you add a link.
Option 2 is better, because it allows you to change stuff in one place and it would be 'rolled out' to all the pages/posts that refer to that CSS code.
Reply here if you like me to show you those screenshots. I have to go now.
For some reason, I never got notified of your reply. So I didn't see it until now. I would love to see screenshots if you have time to send them. Thanks!
Create a new "class" by going to your WP dashboard, selecting appearance, then customize. Then after a few moments, go down to the bottom of that list to "additional CSS", then open that up (clicking on that line to open it up), then page down to the bottom.
I created a new "class" called "mws-click-link-text" that behaves in different ways under different conditions. The class can be called anything you like, but you want it to be unique and easy for you to follow.
The ;important "value" is important, because this overrides what other code has already set these values to ( Dad at 1 pm says "do this", and Mum at 2 pm says "do that", you "do that" because Mum is the real boss type of logic). In other coding environments, you obey the last instruction. In this the earlier instruction is followed unless the ;important bit is added which means "you have just got to do this".
The "code text" in the other image shows how to add this to a post.
Cheers,
David
Love your image including your friend. Awesome. Priceless.
