When you have YouTubes on your website, they will display at the end a final screen with all other YouTube movies. To prevent this display you do as follow.

I took a sceenshot to show you how you can do it.

This is the embedded code you will find in the editor.

Just add ?&rel=0 behind the Youtube link, that'll do the job:)

This is how you disable YouTube Related Videos

Hope you'll find this useful information:)

Youtube doesn't like this, they have removed this option from their settings and have blocked this all together, but there are 2 other options, you can still make an infinite loop and you can use a plugin..

Make infinite loop for your YouTube video...

Hi Loes I will give it a go when I need it but right now I only have WA video's so don't see the harm in advertising the fact that there are more of them available if a visitor wants more info..
What do you think, should I use your code anyway?
have a nice evening.
Robert

I think is is distracting when the video goes on with other displays, Robert, have a nice evening too:)

Ok Loes but my video's only show another sample of videos so I don't see the harm but apart from that my video code is a lot different than yours and to put in the little piece of code you suggest wont work for me.
Have a nice day.
Robert

When you add this, the next click will start Your same video again

Ok will give it a go.I'm off now.
Robert

Great Loes

You're welcome Divican

Thanks a lot

You've gone and done it again haven't you:-)

Hi Gordon, I can not resist :)

I'm saving this for future use. Great idea. -Alexx

Thanks Alexx

Thank you.

You're welcome William

Thanks just what I needed

I believe I can read minds:) Steen

Great Loes, I was actually looking for this !
perfect timing.

I'm clearvoyant Ron;)

Apparently!
that makes another great niche ;)

I am not going to move myself onto thin ice;)

Thank you for the information. I thought it was inevitable. Now I see that at the "imbed" option at "show more" I can uncheck "Show suggested videos when the video finishes", and then "rel = 0" is embedded.

That'right, but for a lot of people this is a real good option, because they have allready the video on the website, they can just go into the editor and fix it:)

Nice grab Loes!

Whether by adding the bit of code you've shown or by using the advanced settings option Labman describes, it's great to have the option!

Dennis

It's handy when the video is allready on your website, you only have to add the code

You can also go into the advanced settings where you will find a checkbox to stop the playing of additional videos.

I think that will add the same code:) thanks Craig, then this is info for anyone who has placed a video and didn't use this option:)
