But these days I don't even use the embed code. I just paste in the video URL and WordPress automatically displays the video, then resizes it as needed.
That was the case a few years ago. But nowadays pretty much every theme is responsive. (If your theme sn't then you shouldn't be using it.)
In which case, just cut & paste the YouTube URL into your post or page and the video will be resized automatically to suit the screen. No need for any code.

I always use 'embed' option because I can these choose some of the available options. With url this is not so. What is the best way to go?
