3 ways to drive your readers away

I write this blog in the "he-form", but you can read "she" as well :)

1. Preachy

Expressing your truth as the truth and nothing but the truth.

If you want to change or move your readers with your texts, then certainly, do not preach. Your reader is allergic to that. A good writer brings it so that the reader himself gains insight. Give your readers your strong arguments, but wrap them up, that it looks like they have come up with it themselves. Do not say your opinion, but ask provocative questions, make them think for themselves.

Dr. Phil

2. Moralize

The famous shaking finger. If your readers get jumbled, then it is from a virtual raised finger. Clarity is fine, but beware of pedantry and stubbornness. Share your knowledge but be vulnerable and open. Give the reader space to draw their own conclusions, and that every conclusion is okay. Make your reader curious, that's a good technique. Leave room for questions and new discoveries for your reader.

3. Sell too early

As soon as your reader thinks too quickly that you want to sell something, he becomes suspicious. Just like such a pushy salesman at a meeting, who hands over his business card when you shake hands.

Voltaire

Of course you want to sell something, that's your right, you do not do affiliate marketing for nothing. The right timing and tone is very important. Make the reader curious about the possible solution to his problem with your text. If you do that well, your reader wants more information about your product. After reading your article, he convinced himself that he really has to do something about his problem now. And is ready to the solution you offer him.

Albert Einstein

Use the 3 parts of story telling:

1. Tell a recognizable situation
2. Describe the problem (of your customer)
3. Show the solution

Loes, you've always got a way of saving the day!

Have a nice one, Robert

Isn't life strange?
I woke up in the middle of the night with the thought "Is my current post too opinionated?"
I guess there is a reason for everything in life ...
Fortunately it isn't completed yet and therefore hasn't been published so plenty of time to fix.
And on a side not Albert Einstein died the day I was born and like him with my latest post I have spent the majority of the time considering the problem. In fact it took me a week to decide on the structure of what will ultimately become a huge post.
Thanks for your post - timely indeed.

The universe works in mysterious ways:))
