Hey Howard,
Searching DuckDuckGo using the prompt in your screen printed, popup window, the FB help page shows listed at the top.
See screen print below... feel free to use the exact same search phrase.
If that doesn't work, there are other options to check out, such as Meta's (which is FB) help below that, and video help too.

I am attempting to “boost” the first post that I have just published to my new Facebook page. It says I can’t do that! It says the following "Your advertising

Just had to go search to discover 'why'... and WOW... discovered others have experienced the same issue... see screen print below...
The search phrase I used is as follows:
My new FB page won't let me share a post - keeps prompting that advertising is restricted

Thanks, Actually it allowed, and shows that I had already published a new post FB from my website. It just won't allow me boost it.
Ahh... my bad... see screen print for new query...
Huh... just tried clicking on the Boost Post button to see... and you are correct... FB is treating boosting a post as an advertisement.
And, technically it is being as you have to pay for it.
Is your page brand new? If so, that’s probably the reason Facebook isn’t allowing you to boost your post—it’s part of their anti-spam policy.
Thanks, The new page is a week or so old but the post is new. Do you know how long it takes to get past this?

I had a message like that before, I just clicked "Request review" and it got cleared up. Like me , I am sure you have no "harmful content" It happens on newer sites sometimes.

apparently if you create the question then go back and edit it you can add an image ...
or as others do add a reply with the image...and say in the question 'image down below' ...
