You Want MORE Traffic To Your Website?
I see a lot of members doing a lot of different things to get traffic and a lot of these methods are outside what's being taught in the course here at WA (main course in the green button on the left menu called Online Entrepreneur Certification course).
That is fine to do but I find that if you can just concentrate on two main things instead you will see the traffic you want.
I have seen these two things proven to work many times and I have experienced this myself.
If you do these two things consistently, you WILL see traffic and the more you do these two things, the FASTER you'll get traffic.
1. Low Hanging Fruit Keywords
One of the ways taught here is using low hanging fruit keywords in your content. Usually the criteria to look for is Search Volume (not Traffic) to be > 100 and QSR (Competition) < 100. I usually go for QSR < 50, unless Search Volume is really high. I personally only look at these two things.
This doesn't mean I don't use Search Volume < 10, this happens if you're reviewing a brand new product. If you know the product will become popular, then write about it for sure.
Not all Search Volume < 10 mean it's a new product, if QSR is > 40 it could mean it was an old product that no one is currently searching for.
Always check the keyword on Google to see what's going on for that keyword.
You only need one LHF keyword (which could be one word or several words - usually several words) per post/page. Usually you use it in the title and first paragraph of your post. You can use it one more time near the end too to make sure. ;)
You can add other related keywords that almost mean the same but don't try to add too many, just write naturally and write casually like talking to a friend.
This is just my opinion and believe is closely to what is taught here, so do at your own discretion or go back to the training to find out more.
2. Write Consistent Content
Some of you know I write a lot but that is because I'm in a competitive niche. You may be in a niche that doesn't require as much content as I do to get the same amount of traffic so I just want to put this out there first.
However, in any niche, if you're building an authority site (which is the main type of sites to build in the WA training), content is really king.
I haven't even experienced anywhere near the traffic I've seen that some seasoned members here get on their sites when all they do is write and it's also proven in their income results, but I'm starting to see my traffic really going upwards.
You have to remember that your site won't have much authority or Google won't give it much attention if you only write 1 once a month or even 4 times a month... it will take much longer to see results if you don't have a consistent schedule of publishing new content.
I don't know what the magic number is but all I know is that the ones that get massive amount of traffic are the sites that have a lot of content on them, regardless of niche.
Remember that this blogging business is very cumulative and the more you write, the more all your posts will rank higher.
I suggest if you can write consistently 3-5 times a week, do it.
Instead of writing for other sites to get traffic, write for your own site. This will only help to build the number posts on your site that you'll need to be recognized as an authority site in Google's eyes.
The formula I see is:
More content = More keywords to rank for = More traffic = More money.
That's the power of SEO and so many successful members have said this over and over again.
It also took me awhile to understand this and I'm seeing great improvements because of my increased writing.
If you don't do anything else but these two things, I know you will get traffic you want to see & the money will come.
There are many success stories here that say they only use these two things, check it out:

Happy Writing! :)

Good points and I totally agree with you. This strategy has proven itself over time and at the end of the day some of the other methods I hear bantered about can actually hurt your ranking with the search engines, and result in you getting LESS traffic, or worse...Cheers! Dave : )
Thanks Dave, glad you agree on this dependable strategy. Though it takes time to work but when it does, it’s golden.
Good point about the other strategies.
This is great advice Grace. It is easy to get discouraged and start looking for alternative methods of obtaining traffic.
I believe the best traffic comes from visitors who have a definite purpose of finding online, what they want or need for their own betterment.
Exactly, it's the highest most targeted traffic you can get for free. :) Members just need to follow the training here and get it done. :)
I think we all need to be reminded to have patience and persistence. Thanks for this, Grace. :)
Yes that those P's are definitely needed in this online business as well as perseverance! :)
Thanks for stopping by,
Grace
This post is something that new people to WA should have to read. Too many are looking for the quick money and the easy road.
Thanks for the reminder.
Thank you Frank, it's the core of the training here actually so just follow the training. :)
Yes, there are no shortcuts, though people keep looking for them. Content and keywords. That's all you need. (well, that and *time*)
Yes, time... Google doesn't even look at you in the first 3 months! Lol New members don't get this and leave. *sigh* Maybe the training should be updated on the first lesson to say this business takes TIME. :)
