October - What A Month!
If you have followed some of my posts here in the last bit of Oct, I was really picking up traffic on my site and now that Oct is done, I'd like to share some results to see what SEO can do all of a sudden.
My total October visits ended at just over 8,700 visits, a 54.6% increase from September of 5,632 visits.
The Oct month went as high as 485 visits/day but went back down to 249/day on the last Saturday of the month but ended back up at 300/day.
Just goes to show how volatile traffic could be and I don't understand the ups and downs.
I love the mix of traffic with Organic just dominating! :)
My Oct referrals was highest for a month at 77, while Sep only had 34 referrals. Premiums didn't convert more than Sep however even though I had more than double the referrals this month so that is strange.
Income not really worth mentioning yet as it's still low though it's the highest I've earned from WA.
This only means I need even MORE referrals to continue earning revenue and I know I will get them as I continue to add lots of content to my site.
I have 236 posts at the end of Oct and on track to get to 300 by the end of the year.
Hopefully my traffic will continue to jump back up to the 400's visits per day so that I can bring in even more referrals.
I've been getting 2-6 referrals a day and haven't had a 0 day since Oct 18 which is pretty cool!
My subscribers have also jumped pretty high... I had talked about implementing a guide in mid-Aug when my subscriber list was only about 40 people. In just two weeks, it doubled to 82, in Sep that jumped to 226 and in Oct it ended the month at 427 subscribers!
Can't complain, it's been a great 14th month overall!

My traffic was 7.1k for October, still decent but not yet breaking out like yours! Onwards and upwards!

Wow! You are doing so well Grace. You are really working hard and putting all the pieces together. I don't have nearly as much traffic yet but I know I just need to put in more time. Unfortunately it is my very busiest time of year at my regular job. I hope to have more time this winter.

Thanks Jessica, I have the luxury of being a stay at home mom, so I just write all day while my kids are at school. :) You will get there, just go at your own pace.
I'm also more or less having the same number of session but sadly for now my organic trafic is still low with only 40 posts. But i'm getting there ;-)
I’m not having a very good rate of conversion for now. But my organic is growing slowly. I’m usually around 30 person/day now. But this social trafic is getting me also sale on amazon and other affiliate network which I get commission for selling flight tickets. It’s not that bad and actually growing.
I had about 5 sales in 2 days on Amazon, and even if it’s small commissions I’m quite happy about it
Those are great results, don't discount your social traffic, it's great when you don't have your organic traffic yet so that's awesome you're getting sales from your social traffic. :)

I’am actually with my results so far I’m moving in the right direction I think. This is not the best traffic but it’s bringing me lot of people, without having to work a lot !
This is a great idea to share all this with all the members and I’m hoping I can do the same, as you inspired me :-)
