I read every one of your responses and they were super helpful.
Most people really liked the clean look of #1 or #2.
So... due to popular demand, here's an updated version of my header with a more subtle, lighter background.
New Header #InspiringMompreneurs
It looks even lighter on the site as the image is much bigger than you see it here (1600 x 400px).
I know a number of you prefer the grey but l still wanted to keep the colour feminine and happy so I'm just going a lighter shade of the original dusk I chose.
A Note on Chosen Images
I chose the 2 images I used in my original header to try capture my core ideas of Gorgeous Granpreneurs and Inspiring Mompreneurs. Both were ladies featured on my site.
A New Idea
Eden @EKaye1 came up with this suggestion - to use one image instead of two.
Here's an example of a new Header with the logo and only 1 picture.
I think this retains the simplicity and core idea while also reducing the busy-ness factor.
What do you think?
So... here's my plan...
Randomized Headers
I've chosen the "Randomize Uploaded Headers" function.
And I've created about 12 of these Headers using the most beautiful images I've received from Moms I've featured. Very few send me professional images, I have to work with what I've got.
When a visitor visits my site they will see a different image each time - either a white or light peach full image of the logo on it's own or a header with the logo on the left and an image of Featured Mompreneur on the right.

The new design looks lovely and very sleek!
You've picked a great header and love the idea of random images with it.! I think it would be a good idea to keep the logo exactly the same on every one though. That way your brand stays consistent throughout every page.

I think it's a great idea to have different pictures show up in the header. But I would probably keep the logo part the same, Lauren, i.e. settle on one colour for the logo and stick to that so there is some continuity.

Hi laurenjean, a randomizer header is a great idea, ALL of the headers you have created are great, so why not use them all. Perfect!!

I don't know why my comment didn't post but I think you picked a winner!!! Just wanted to let you know I did try to vote yesterday and actually I believe it was for #2 or #5 since Mom's are usually so busy (that shows real life) but like I said I like what you have done!!!
