Ad Blockers
Carla recently wrote a post about the silence that Ad Blockers provide.
I understand where she is coming from. Many of us use Ad Blockers by default.
HOWEVER, for those of us that do, keep in mind that Ad Blockers WORK!
What does that mean for you as an online marketer?
You need to understand what is blocked and what is not.
One of the things that AdBlockers do block are iframes. Where do these occur? Yup, you guessed it, They appear as Amazon Widgets, often they are wrapping your affiliate banners as well.
My recommendation is, if you don't have an ad Blocker on your browser, get one. Turn it on, check your site carefully with it running. If you want people to see your ads, you will need to determine how to get them to display with the Ad Blocker turned on.
You may not be showing people what you think they are seeing.
Wonder why your click throughs are so low, it might be an Ad Blocker doing its job.

Ahhh sweet mystery of life........ so much technological development nowadays (including yesteryear) is like a two edged sword! Thank you for showing the flip side!
Kind regards,

I don't see my own ads if I forget to turn the blocker off. I usually have it on when I'm perusing things, reading things and doing things other than writing for my websites. When I work on the sites, I have it off. I will definitely check what others are seeing, starting with my husband's computer. Thanks for the tip!
