Hi Kyle,
I consider me new at wealthy affiliate VS. others with a lot of experience. If I pay $19/mo. by Jaaxy Pro before September 4, 2017 there will be no more increases for me. If later or next year I want to change to Jaaxi Enterprise I will pay $49 It is correct?
Thanks,
Samuel
Exactly, if you are already Pro by the 4th then you will never be subject to any price increases moving forward. So you will be good to go!
I do have one request.
Please can you return the Jaaxy affiliate plugin signup process to how it used to be before the changes?
Because this month, I've had 42 clicks via the plugin and only 1 free member signup came from that.
Before the changes happened, I was getting 1 free referral for every 2 - 4 clicks.
It's had a negative impact on conversions which has no doubt caused a potential loss in new commissions.
Because now the keywords aren't visible when people enter search terms into the plugin, they don't want to enter their info for the results.
Where as before the changes, people could clearly see a number of keyword search results which encouraged them to enter their info for unlocking the 30 searches.
Other Jaaxy affiliates must have had a bad month too?
That is a great point Neil. We will get this fixed and this must've been an oversight when we moved to the new platform and the new technology. We still have a similar flow, but there are a few things that can be improved on the search page, that is, the blurred out viewable area.
August is typically a bad month for conversions anyways and sales, but it shouldn't have dropped like this.
We will investigate and get fixed.
Thanks very much, Kyle. It could be a combination of the month and the new changes that have caused the loss of conversions.
Looking forward to what the new changes bring :)
One thing that also is going to the the help is the continuity between the logos on the widget and the website. We have an update coming to this very soon and also these widgets are going to be 100% responsive as well. :)
Kyle, Carson and Jay, It is with deep regret that I write this email to cancel my premium membership at Wealthy Affiliate because of rejection by Amazon Associates and the lack of traffic and zero revenues from Amazon and Wealthy affiliate. Thanks for your service during the past 12 months and I wish the community great success in 2018 moving forward. William
You could be just on the cusp of success, don't quit at what might be the last stepping stone.
I agree with Dave. Don't give up now when you could be so close. There is more to online business than just Amazon. There are numerous affiliate opportunities out there to choose from in every niche.
Getting good traffic takes time and yes, effort on your part in providing great content and help. But you never know when you're going to turn that corner and really begin to get the traction you need.
Have you thought about creating your own products and services maybe helping people by doing something that you're really great at. It might even be a hobby of yours that others would love to learn about too.
@Williamjr1 Hang in there and don't give up. After all the climb is tough but the view from the top of the mountain will be worth it!
Hey, William, Amazon is not the only game in town! There are hundreds of other Affiliate programs. ShareASale.com is one that has hundreds of other big company vendors. Rakuten Affiliate Network is another great program with many well-known company vendors.
Besides, Dave could be right. Did you know many members here were at this same crossroad - ready to quit - but decided one more month then - BAM - success started flowing. Just as the old cliche - it is always darkest before the dawn - So too online marketing can be.
What ever you decide, May you always be true to yourself and best of luck to you!
Ken
Williamjr1,
I could not agree more with DavePage and Suea! All I would say is this... FORWARD EVER BACKWARDS NEVER. I know you have what it takes to hit home run! This system just as in life is not a sprint but rather a marathon.... I am here including the community to get you where you need to go. WE ALL CARE HERE!!!
Thanks for the reminder about this increase, Kyle. I've been on the fence about upgrading to Pro and now is the time to take advantage of that price before the increase. I seriously need to up my game and get some referrals here so not so much money going out and nothing coming in to compensate. Talk about motivation! LOL! Jaaxy has so much to offer though, not just keyword search abilities.
Do what makes the most sense for you and your situation, but you won't regret it if you do decide to go Pro!
I think it is a Hugh price increase and it will be a harder sell. Should have kept the $19. with maybe 50/100 searches/mo.
$19.00 is an easier sell even if it had a limit for searches and services.
Will there still be a free sign up and trial?
Glad I am in at $19.
Doug
You it is a big price increase, we do have some very interesting plans with Jaaxy in the next month or so and I can assure you this is going to work out for everyone. :)
I have had about this company but have not signed on but disappointed they have increased their price to such an alarming rate, for affiliate who has made money, it is ok but for the newbies, it is difficult. I am sure when it gets to the stage where I have to use them, I will find something better and cheaper. I pride myself for being a good investigator.
Let me know if you find something better and cheaper.......that's a huge price rise! They must think they're the electric company!
Thanks,
Laurel
Jaaxy was essentially a lose leader at it's old prices, thus as we investing a great deal of money in programming and technology that runs Jaaxy, the price went up. It is still one of the most cost efficient platforms in the industry at the new prices.
Even Whole Foods is dropping there pricing 40%! Certainly because of Amazon - but I'm sure it will lead to more consumers. I know I'll be checking it out as soon as the local one opens this month.
More money's not always worth the money.
Kyle, I feel that you don't need to defend yourself on the pricing of Jaaxy. You and Carson have given members of WA plenty and then some for what we spend. I haven't started a site yet but I'm ready to begin building one. I don't yet know how to use Jaaxy but will get the Pro version by 9/4 because of the good comments I've read on WA about it and the trust I have in you, Carson & others to provide the best training tools at a (more than) reasonable cost. Thank you!
Thats quite a significant Price increase.
So if one jumps in before September 4th at the current price. What happens if we cancel 6 months in , do we then have to pay the new full price of $49 should we want to renew again in future or would we get a loyaly discount ?
Hi Kyle, thanks for the update. I still find the new prices quite high.
It's a huge jump from$19 to 49/month. It would be great to see a medium price tag between the free account and Pro account. Maybe with limited keyword searches and limited search credits (for SiteRank).
Also for promoting Jaxxy, it would be cool if we as affiliates could offer a promotional code to our readers, e.g. 20% off for the first month or something similar.
~ Anke
We may have some options down the road, but this is going to be the initial change come September 4th.
I canceled my subscription to Jaaxy, then heard about the price going up. I looked over my budget, and decided to try for it again. This is the keyword search tool I use more than any other (keyword) service, so it's not like I don't use it. So I'm giving it another try too. I'll be here for a while. :)

Hi, Kyle.
I was going to PM you my questions, but realized posting them here instead may help some members.
I imagine looking back through older comments would be time-consuming, so I'm quoting the parts I want to ask about.
sdcarcamo asked: "If I pay $19/mo. by Jaaxy Pro before September 4, 2017 there will be no more increases for me. If later or next year I want to change to Jaaxi Enterprise I will pay $49 It is correct?"
You answered: "Exactly, if you are already Pro by the 4th then you will never be subject to any price increases moving forward. So you will be good to go!"
DSonic asked: "So if one jumps in before September 4th at the current price. What happens if we cancel 6 months in, do we then have to pay the new full price of $49 should we want to renew again in future or would we get a loyaly discount?"
You answered: "You can cancel and resubscribe and never be subject to a price increase."
Here are my questions:
1. If I pay for one month of Jaaxy Pro and cancel before the next payment is due, will I be grandfathered in to the pre-increased prices for both Pro and Enterprise, forever?
($19/month or $199/year for Pro and $49/month or $499/year for Enterprise)
2. I still have 24 of the 30 searches left on my free account. If I upgrade without using them first, I'll lose them, right?
3. If I upgrade my free Jaaxy account, can I downgrade it back to free?
(This is why I asked about losing my 24 remaining searches. If I lose those when I upgrade, I won't be able to use Jaaxy again until I can upgrade the account again.)
I hope #1 is possible. Even if I didn't use Jaaxy once during the month I had the Pro version, I'd happily pay $19 to ensure I'll never, ever, have to pay more than $499 per year for the highest level of Jaaxy.

"Can you upgrade via credit card without joining pay pal?"
You replied:
"In the next month or so we will be and those that don't have paypal now, we will be able to accommodate then (at the lower price)"
My question:
What about those of us who have PayPal, but hate/don't trust it and use it only when we're forced to: can you accomodate us too, in the next month or so, at the lower price point?
Sharon
Hi Sharon,
You brought to Kyle your concerns about Jaaxy price increase
Including other questions from some WA members related to the increase of Jaaxy. Kyle has answered the questions clearly. I appreciate that. Sharon, you are an inspiration to everyone in helping others and giving them some hope that they can change their lives for the better. My best wishes for you and your family.
Good luck and great success in 2017.

Aww... thanks, Samuel - that's such a sweet comment!
Thank you for your good wishes. I wish the same for you and your family!
Thank you Sharon.

Sure happy to help you out here.

Yes, you'll still be grandfathered into that price point. :)
2. I still have 24 of the 30 searches left on my free account. If I upgrade without using them first, I'll lose them, right?
You will lose them, but this will be moot as your will have way more functionality and get more results instantly within your search results upon upgrading.
3. If I upgrade my free Jaaxy account, can I downgrade it back to free?
(This is why I asked about losing my 24 remaining searches. If I lose those when I upgrade, I won't be able to use Jaaxy again until I can upgrade the account again.)
You cannot downgrade back to free. What you can do, is if you ever cancel your Jaaxy membership, you can start using the WA keyword tool here. :) Although it is not as elaborate, It is still a high functioning keyword tool that will serve your keyword research needs.

Hi, Kyle.
Thank you so much for your detailed reply! I'm astounded by your answer to my first question.
If all we can afford right now is a single payment of $19, that's okay: we'll never have to pay more than $19/month or $199/year for Jaaxy Pro.
But here's where your answer gets even more amazing...
... that same $19 payment ALSO means we'll never have to pay more than $49/month or $499/year for Jaaxy Enterprise.
Many WA members are struggling financially. That you and Carson are allowing us to do this proves you're not out of touch with the "little guy." Thank you.
As for your answers to my second and third questions, that's what I expected: I just wanted to verify. (And I'm not fussed over it.)
I love the free WA keyword tool and am very excited to see the improvements you've hinted at!

I have just one question remaining, before I upgrade from the free version to Jaaxy Pro.

Hi Sharon,
I liked your comment about those of us who have PayPal, but hate/don't trust it and use it only when we're forced to use PayPal services.

Thanks, Samuel: I appreciate that.
Do you hate/distrust PayPal (PreyPal,) too?
I loved using PayPal, both for sending and receiving payments, before eBay bought it.
I've read many cases of people getting their accounts/funds frozen after eBay bought PayPal, even though they'd done nothing wrong - nothing illegal, "suspicious" or against PayPal's Terms of Service. (Google "PayPal frozen funds" if you'd like to read some of the horror stories.)
Getting the funds unfrozen can take months. That's enough to destroy many businesses, especially small ones.
I realize a payment platform must be able to freeze any funds for which there's valid suspicion of fraud or other illegal activity. I understand a payment platform must be able to freeze funds for an individual transaction when there's a dispute between a buyer and a seller.
PayPal has been known to freeze ALL the funds in the account, including those for which there's no hint of wrongdoing and no dispute. And, when they freeze the account itself, merchants are unable to accept PayPal payments until PayPal unfreezes their account. Buyers LOVE using PayPal. If you can't provide that option, they'll go to a competitor who can.
There have been multiple class action lawsuits (Google: "PayPal class action lawsuit".)
PayPal has never frozen my account or any of my funds, but they CAN at any time. Knowing that makes me hate PayPal as a payment platform, and have zero trust in it.

That's something I would love to know as well. When I went to check it out tonight and saw that the only option was Paypal, my heart sank a little.

Hi, Craig.
I feel the same. Let's cross our fingers, that Kyle and Carson will be able to let us pay without having to use PayPal.
Sharon
Hi Sharon ,
I'm fully agree with you. A year and a half approximately I had a bitter experience with PayPal. They were further from the imaginable.
After paying for a product of a company, they emptied what was left in my debit card account. My bank was notified by me and they managed to return the money they took out of more in my debit card. Of course, it is a dishonest company, no credible and lack of of business ethic.
That's my experience with PayPal. I think Kyle and Carson should take into consideration the concerns of some members of WA. I am aware that this is a business and that there are members who have supported WA for many years and will continue to support.
It's not my intention to offend or hurting anyone's susceptibility, but to open bridges. Hope Kyle and Carson find a fair and reasonable solution without being seen affected them and their members of WA.

Hi again, Craig.
Well, I did it: I upgraded from free to Pro a few hours ago and man is Pro great!
I'm probably over-thrilled because I hadn't looked at Jaaxy since I used it for the level 1 cert course over a year ago, but yowza - the amount of features they've added is incredible!
Sadly, PayPal is still the only payment option, but maybe they'll offer more in the future. We can hope, right? :)

Hi again, Samuel.
Ouch! I'm sorry you're one of the many victims of PayPal. :`(
As I wrote to Craig a few minutes ago, maybe WA will offer more payment options for Jaaxy in the future. I hope so!
Sharon
Great Sharon.
Samuel
Great! Good to hear that you are liking it.
I will probably have to pass on it, as I literally have no money (my bank account is overdrawn). I know other members have actually made the offer to help me out financially, but I can't bring myself to do that.
Hopefully at some point in the future I will be able to upgrade, and maybe the higher price won't be an issue at that time if I am making money here.

Hi, Craig.
I'm really sorry to hear about your financial situation. I've been there, so I know how awful it is.
Some of the members here are so sweet. Imagine, offering financial help to someone you've never met in person. They're darlings.
I wish you the very best of luck, overcoming your financial difficulties quickly!
Sharon
Thank you!
Everything will be fine once I can find a job. I have been looking for just over 11 months now, so something has to turn up eventually....
Either that, or my site needs to explode with traffic and sales. Lol
