Have you share your articles in Google Plus ? Google analytics tell me that my website visitors most come from Google Plus.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, I have. I share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

ksholloman,

I concur with spinner721 as it pertains to training. I just watched Jay Neil's '21 Minute Ranking Method' and 'Promoting With YouTube' training and I have seen significant results in page/post ranking, social media, and YouTube videos.

My site is six months old too and during the first two months I spent a ton of my time trying to perfect everything.....so I thought. After the third month I let it go by the wayside because I wasn't seeing any results.

It's been about a month since I have gotten back into the swing of things, and after through some of Jay's training, I have corrected a ton of mistakes I had made early on. Like I mentioned earlier, my rankings have noticeably improved and this is only after two weeks.

Botipton recently published a post "What Is This About? ". I think he nailed it. The training and support on this site has proven valuable to me. The biggest take away for me is that building an online business is a marathon, not a dash to the finish line.

Keep up the work, the results will come.

If you did not have a sitemap and your were not verified that is the big thing that was holding you back. Google does not like sites without sitemap or that are not verified. Give it a week and see if there is a change.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions you want to talk about.

Thanks for this - I'm going slowly in my training and had yet to create and submit a sitemap. Done and done now :)

That will make a difference in getting indexed and ranked

I have also been here for 6 months with not as much traffic as I would like. I know that my niche is a tough niche to break into and since I'm doing everything right I know it'll only be a matter of time till I break through. Watch the video below and read the post- it really helped me stay positive!

Wow that video is great! Thanks for sharing.

Hope it helped you:)

Sorry, you are having a rough time, bro.

I know you do not want to hear this, but it can take upwards of a year depending on the niche.

But so much depends on so many factors
Is it a competitive niche?
How long are your posts?
What kind of keywords are you targeting? Long-Tail?
Are you setting up Metadata for each post?
keywording the images?
Any video being created to get double juice your site from Youtube?
Has your traffic improved at all since launch?

With all of that said, you are correct to be concerned. After 6 months, if you are seeing absolutely nothing, then there is definitely something going wrong.

Setting up your webmaster tools is one of the first things you should do when setting up your site, so it is a good thing you have done it to try to turn things around. Perhaps review the training again, make sure you did not skip any steps, believe me, the training works.

Depending on the niche, the sad reality is that you may have to ditch it or maybe just post to it once a week and concentrate on something else. Not pointing fingers, but perhaps you and that niche just don't play well with each other. (not saying this is the case, but this far in and single digit traffic, something is going on. Be sure to consider everything)

Have you looked into procuring other traffic sources OTHER than Google? Like Social media traffic? Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram.

It is always good to have sources of traffic to your site OTHER than Google.

So I say all that because it literally can be a million things that could be causing you issues.

Typically with SEO, average work consistently rewards you better than really good work that was given up on.

So keep plugging away and Google will learn to love you just for sticking around.

Thanks for the response! It is a competitive niche, as I'm doing the Affiliate Bootcamp. I am targeting long tail keywords, with competition less than 100. I do have the keywords in the images. I have a couple of videos. My posts are mostly around 500 or so words, since Kyle recommended keeping them shorter.

All of my traffic minus maybe 1 visitor a day comes from social media.

With the training, you can really enter any niche you want. I would keep plugging along. You will break through. Then the growth will be so much you wont be able to handle it, lol.

How many posts and pages do you have?

20 posts, 8 pages and 63 comments

How many posts are you publishing in a week? It seems to me that about one, is that correct? If so, you are not writing enough content. two posts a week is a minimum for a new site.
Maria

I am writing 1-2 a week now. First few months I bounced between doing my own niche or the Bootcamp. I've been going strong on it since ablut April.

I am having quite a similar situation and unfortunately can't see any growth in traffic. My goal is to write two posts a week but it's difficult and even more now that schools are closed and I have my 3-year-old son around me all the time. I get some traffic from Leadsleap but for now, it hasn't converted yet. However, my niche is eliminating back pain not making money.
I can't really help any other way because I am in the same boat...
Good luck!
Maria

One more thing, I once read that to get ranked you need to have more than 50 posts on your site. Well, I do have 74 posts and pages put together so I would expect to see more traffic soon...

I tried it for the fun of it. 50,000 targeted visitors for $5 off Fivver. Granted the visitors will come, they don't click past the title page. I know I have decent content on

Paid traffic from bots is good if you want to artificially boost the visitor numbers when selling a site - but other than that forget about it

The reason is you first paid $5 for crap - this was not targeted traffic. You have no idea where these so-called visitors came from, which can be dangerous .

Don't waste your money (even $5) on useless traffic from Fivver.

If you want to get real traffic using paid methods - you can follow the PPC training at the end of the Affiliate Bootcamp - it's for promoting the WA, but it can be applied to any niche.

Another alternatives are FB ads, Google ads, YouTube ads.

Now with that said, there is a learning curve and you must be prepared to spend money dialing in your advertising.

For example with Facebook you can spend as little as $5 per day - very low risk - yes it takes longer but as you learn and get better you can increase your daily budget.

Bottom line when it comes to paid traffic never buy it from a third party, you always want to be the one buying the traffic through your own campaigns

I appreciate the feedback Leo!

How does the saying go? "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true."

But it was worth a shot for $5 haha :)

I agree. Unless you try, you will never know

MarkusV already said it, most likely it's just traffic generated by a script. If you are going to go with paid traffic use a legitimate source such as Adwords or Bing. Even then it can be difficult to convert and you'll burn a hole in your wallet if you don't know what you're doing.

What you will get is poor quality, poor is even an understatement you get rubbish

Thanks guys. I appreciate the insight. I figured I would give it a shot for $5. I didn't have my hopes up, though.

Hi Kevin, I've experienced with paid traffic and don't recommend to use get traffic from Fivver. Most of providers don't give you human traffic so you won't get any click/conversion. The most valuable type of paid traffic are PPC and PPV by big companies like Google and Yahoo.

Hi,

Don't buy traffic ever. It's all shit. I paid for them but nothing just wasting your money.
